There are so many nice beach hotels in Mui ne, but going for Mia resort was absolutely the best decision! Beautiful design boutique hotel, directly at the beach, wonderful staff and so much more.. I am already planning my trip back to this place, highly recommended!!

Super place to stay. Very beautiful. Delicious food and the thai massage was the best i ever had. Breakfast is nice and well presented and you can even choose your own smoothie. The rooms are well designed and we had a beautiful outdoor bathroom. Love it!

Stayed for 4 nights in one of the garden bungalows and loved it. Our 2 small kids loved the beach, the pool and exploring the garden and looking for frogs, etc. We loved the architecture, design and decor of the whole place....really beautifully done, and creates an extremely restful and relaxing ambience. The food was excellent, with some unique dishes and great choices. Staff all really friendly... and attentive and discreet at the same time. It would be easy to never leave the grounds but would recommend the German restaurant a few minutes walk away. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We live in Saigon and try to escape the city life as often as possible. One of our main destination for such is Mui Ne. Despite the stretch of Mui Ne not being our favourite, the MIA resort is a little oasis of relaxation.

The main problem with most resorts in the area is, that they are either run down or the guests are loud.

MIA is catering mainly to foreign couples that have similar interests or relaxation and comfort.

The rooms are small but have their charme, the setup is traditional; open bathroom. Main issue are the mossies but the resort tries to adress this matter - not very effective though. In the setup of a djungle however I believe it is not better to deal with it than the way they do. There is a simple way to avoid mossies - spray or cream, you should not forget this at home.

The pool is small but suffices and is well maintained; positive is that only hotel guests are allowed - and they monitor that.

The beach is clean and wide where the MIA is. The access is direct.

The restaurant is good and probably the best western food in the area. Vietnamese food - by nature - is better in other locations. They offer buffets, but we usually do not decide on those as the quality is not as good as the a la carte menu.

They are mostly fully booked on the weekends. We have been going there for three years now on an irregular basis. They always try to sell an upgrade at "a good price". That is a bit annoying as we are not on a basar and I have chosen the room for a reason. However, I guess that is just their sales approach.

All in all, I can recommend this resort - we are going to be back on a regular basis.

We arrived at 9pm, and were warmly greeted by the hotel manager and staff with refreshing beverages and passionfruit ice cream as we waited for our check-in.

Our room was unlike anything we've been accustomed to: woody furniture touched by romantic yellow light, with a soft lemongrass scent that permeated the air. It was the perfect getaway!

Throughout our stay, the staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs, and they even remembered our room number. We enjoyed the massages very much. Our therapists were experienced, rubbing away any aches we used to have. Food was superb (try their ginger beer battered fish and chips and their unique smoothie bowls, you'll definitely be missing these). We fell asleep on their sunbeds while suntanning and drifting away to the sounds of waves crashing.

If you have some time and money to spare, do check out their tour packages around the resort. We took their half-day tour to the sand dunes for some ATV fun, a red sand dunes where Vietnamese themselves go for holiday, Mui Ne fishing village and Fairy Stream (you walk barefooted here against a mild stream - heavenly experience). Ask for tour guide Lee (?) as his English is good, knows a lot about the area and takes great photos. They have other tour packages such as a hot air balloon trip to see the sunrise/sunset.

There is nothing much to do on the streets outside the resort (littered with tourist shops and restaurants that charge prices not different from the resort), but you can take a taxi to the nearby markets around Phan Thiet if you want to a little exploring.

Would definitely return here again for some of that hospitality.
