This place is a budget hotel, through and through. The service is especially lacking - no smiles, no welcome, like we've received at other "budget" hotels and guest houses in Vietnam. We felt like chattel - just something to make money off of. Upon entering our room, my wife was yelled at for not taking off her shoes. While she didn't follow the custom of Vietnam, the tone was really rude and unnecessary. The room was a decent size but pretty dark, with only a small window for light. The bathroom was pretty bad - no window, lukewarm water, mold in the grout, a terrible smell (we kept the door closed at all times). We also saw several centipedes crawling out of a hole in the wall. As a backpacker hotel in a party town, the hotel could get pretty loud at night, so not great for couples or early risers. No breakfast included, but cheap beer at the bar. Overall, the price seems tough to beat, but I would take my chances next time just walking into one of the many guest houses in Mui Ne. At least they will work for your business.
