Just an experience to see the local life. A market with fruits, dried fruits, daily essentials and street food. If you are thinking to buy nuts & dried fruits, it's way cheaper than the opposite BIG C Supermarket. 500g cashews at here cost VND140K but selling VND230K at BIGC.

It is a very local market. If you want a real taste of the local life then this is definitely the place to go. We actually had lunch here, it was super cheap and amazingly tasty. Not many tourists come here actually which was a bonus for us.

My wife and I visited the market to buy some pyjamas , we came a couple of years ago and bought some and my wife wanted some more. We were at a stall explaining that she wanted to buy 5 pair when this drunken old man grabbed hold of my arm and started shouting in Vietnamese and waving a huge wad of bank notes at us(although it was probably only a few quid). We didn’t have clue what he was going on about.

When we paid the girl at the stall she had to get change from the old drunken man, it was then when the penny dropped and we realized he was the owner of the stall and was showing us that he didn’t need our money as he had enough of is own. I would have told him to shove the pyjamas. but my wife really wanted them and he needed the money for to buy more alcohol probably.

Just be aware of this place and watch out for drunken stall holders.
