“This is a real gem.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

Just got back from eating a feast here. Started with the banana blossom salad and moved on the a specialty dish of theirs - squid in a hot pot then - BBQ'd frog legs, chicken wings, deep fried medium shrimp (no big ones available today due to weather), water spinach fried with garlic and the most unusual dish...something that looked like an 10 inch long mussel (they call it something like vietnamese scallop) cooked on the grill then chopped and mixed with spices and mint.

Tong, the owner/manager helped us select dishes that met our needs, not trying to get us into live lobster (which they do have but we weren't in the mood for). He explained each dish and answered our questions while remaining in the background.

All those dishes along with about 5 or 6 beers cost less than 500,000 ($25)...a real bargain especially for quality and freshness like this. Ambience is standard beachfront casual outdoor dining.

We'll be eating there again before heading out of Da Nang

“Value for money local seafood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2013

Brought a family of six for our first night dinner upon reading the tripadvisor review.
- Agreed that staffs cannot speak English but they try their best to deliver their service to you. Only the boss/manager can speak English and he provides good recommendation of cooking style. I am glad that I brought my parents and in-laws who are familiar with various cooking styles and prices of seafood back at home (Singapore).
- There isn't any tourist when we arrived and probably two - three tables occupied by the locals. Hence, it could justify the limited quantity of seafood selection.
- The location is further north from the seafood restaurant area
- For the price and considering that we know it is not an air-conditioned restaurant, I guess the atmosphere should be considered as very decent.

Our food selection includes
- One vegetables
- 1.1kg fish
- 1kg oysters
- 1kg of small clams
- 1 seafood fried rice
- 1 fried noodle
- 1 bottle of heniken
- 3 bottles of softdrinks

total bill about USD 50

“Excellent Vietnamese food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2013

Very tasty food, original dishes that are unique in flavour. Value for money! Service staff is friendly, however not all can speak English. It is a bit further away from town and need public transport to get there.

“Great seafood on China Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013 via mobile

Our housekeeper recommended this restaurant for fresh seafood, and she was not wrong. We had clams, scallops water spinach and oysters. Everything was delicious, well prepared and cooked. After a little confusion with the Vietnamese menu, we met Mr. Conz, the owner / chef. He helped us make our choices and we had a fine meal. Highly recommended.
