Just got back from eating a feast here. Started with the banana blossom salad and moved on the a specialty dish of theirs - squid in a hot pot then - BBQ'd frog legs, chicken wings, deep fried medium shrimp (no big ones available today due to weather), water spinach fried with garlic and the most unusual dish...something that looked like an 10 inch long mussel (they call it something like vietnamese scallop) cooked on the grill then chopped and mixed with spices and mint.
Tong, the owner/manager helped us select dishes that met our needs, not trying to get us into live lobster (which they do have but we weren't in the mood for). He explained each dish and answered our questions while remaining in the background.
All those dishes along with about 5 or 6 beers cost less than 500,000 ($25)...a real bargain especially for quality and freshness like this. Ambience is standard beachfront casual outdoor dining.
We'll be eating there again before heading out of Da Nang
