“Good location, good budget hotel”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

Stayed 2 nights in the classic room for $25 per night, could have found cheaper and better but sufficient for 2 night stopover.
The staff were friendly and helpful notably the lady on reception. The breakfast offered everything but as with many places in Asia it is difficult to diverse from the menu however again the waitress was helpful.
The hotel is situated very close to the markey and the river front but not noisy at all.
Danang has not been recommend by many as a tourist destination but found many things to do notably the worlds longest cable car up the mountains, temples, beaches, harbor and river. Go now before it changes too much!! Get a driver and bike for a day, around $10.

Everything in this hotel I found so good just like people say on tripadvisor. The facility is in a quiet area and security is good. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable... We picked this hotel on the basis of recommendations on TripAdvisor. I found the resort clean friendly and very relaxing. The staff were fantastic.
We took advantage of the shuttle bus on most days to go to Hoi An.

Verdict: I will stay here again.

Room Type: Classic Room
Room No.: 603
Paid: USD 21.20

Pros:
- Very comfortable and clean (although small) room
- Comfy bed, good TV and TV reception, complimentary water; kettle etc.
- Great location - walking distance to shops, food and river.
- Nice bathroom (no bathtub but well-designed with glass shower screen)
- WiFi was OK; stronger signal when closer to the door

Cons:
- Room is a little small (but great for 1 or 2 persons)

Tips:
* Pick a room on the higher floors to have less noise from the streets (I was on 6th floor; no street noise).

Mayana is in a good location, close proximity to the river, the rooms are smallish and the shower drains right to the bathroom floor, this is sorta the norm over here however. Helpful staff, be very clear what you order for breakfast because you just might get something completely different. The coffee can be cold sometimes, and i don't mean iced.

Room Tip: The balcony rooms have good views

Top hotel rooms, clean and modern. Bed and bathroom very nice. Breakfast selection very limited, fruit covered in flys.

Staff not very welcoming, we could live with this. But a smile wouldn't hurt. Asked them how much for car to hoi an. Lady quotes us 120 thousand each . Taxi arrives man quotes us 456 thousand. And takes us to marble mountain, which we didn't ask for nor did we mention a mountain. Taxi driver rang hotel and questioned hotel they spoke to me on phone. And back to driver. We were still over charged for not stopping at marble mountain! Which we didn't ask for in the first place!

We were passing through on the way to Hue and stopped off here for our railway connection. Hotel is located in the town near the market and near the riverside but the town doesn't have much to offer - you would be better at the beach which is very nice, don't miss the trip out to Marble Mountains which is what we came to see. Nice clean hotel room , good bathroom, staff were friendly. Rooms at front of hotel prone to street noise- no balconies just large sliding windows. Breakfast was so poor we didn't bother on the 2nd morning.Plenty to eat around the area and one good bar , the Bamboo 2, about 5 mins walk away by the riverside.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back will be quietest.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel. While the rooms are a little on the small side, they are plenty big enough, very tastefully decorated with modern finishes, and are nice and clean. It's in a great location and such good value for the price. There is also a lift which was a rare luxury for us during our time in Vietnam. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was some occasional power outages that didn't seem to affect the lobby area, but these didn't last long and due to the language barrier, we couldn't really ascertain what was going on so hesitant to blame the hotel. A really great little place!
