“Will come back”

Good value for the price. Definitely come back.
Next to Han market, convenient for walking around.
The hotel is clean and comfortable. The room is of good size with two windows. The only thing that bothers is the noisy old fridge.
The staff is nice and helpful.

Room Tip: Rooms on left hand of elevator are good. They have windows.

This can only be classified as a backpackers hotel. Our 'superior' room had no window, extremely hard beds, paper thin towels, no coffee or tea making facilities or safe and no pool . While the staff were friendly, most could not speak english. We wanted to have laundry done, but although laundry was advertised in room, there was no laundry bag and no explanation or how we could get it done. Our rooms were not made up on first day until I went downstairs to complain. They had to put me on phone to someone who could speak english. The hotel is close to the river only about 50 metres away which was good as there is no breakfast or restaurant in the hotel, and we went to Highlands coffee shop each day. There are plenty of taxis available on the waterfront.

Room Tip: Go elsewhere

A good budget hotel. the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

Everything is just simple and clean. The hotel is slightly old, but everything is functioning well. Aircon, water heater, water pressure, nothing went wrong.

This hotel is brand new with big, clean rooms and cable tv. We paid $20 for a twin room. The service was fantastic and they gave us a great restaurant recommendation, they organized a taxi to pick us up at 5am. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Danang.

Walked around for an hour looking at other hotels in the area, and for the price (negotiated to around 15 dollars) this hotel simply cannot be beat. It's a new hotel, so everything looks great and feels new. Even the towels are still fluffy. TV, aircon, hot water, fridge, phone. Service is also good, and the location (1 block away from the riverfront) isn't bad either. Get a corner room with two windows instead of the inside rooms with none. They have shower areas, but I think the fresh air is much better. Also, it's a bit noisy, but I think that is as much an issue with Vietnam as it is with this hotel!

The hotel rate was USD18 per night with aircon. It looked new and nice. Spacious room. There's a TV and fridge in the room. Friendly reception staff. The hotel is beside the Han market and across the road from the cathedral. Da Nang city traffic is noisy so don't expect any room to be quiet. The reception area had nice big sofas and a TV. There is 1 computer terminal with free internet. Free wifi available in the room (mine was on the 2nd level). It's best to pay in VND instead of USD because they will convert the currencies at their own rate.
