Nice clean centrally located hotel. Great pool, nice food.
In our room we had a few problems, While watching TV if you turned on the air conditioning or bathroom lights, or a combination of the above, the light fuses / circuit breakers would go.
Very annoying.
The other main problem was not water pressure or no hot water or water at all several times.

Room Tip: Try another hotel

Stayed here for 4 nights, having moved from Ving Hung 3 as they were fully booked. As a comparison I would say this is better value, rooms more modern with nice balconies looking down onto the street, also has a very nice pool. The staff are nice and friendly, not as good as staff at VH 3 but still ok. The breakfast was just like any other in Vietnam, nothing great but does the job.. Will stay here again when I come back

Spacious room, big comfortable bed, nice size bathroom. Their included breakfast is a choice of both asian & western food. The wi-fi was excellent & free! The hotel is large & airy. It's only 15 minute walk to restaurant row by the river. Being wedged between two busy roads it can cop a lot of traffic noise. The staff try their hardest to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Ask for a room at the back as they're much quieter you get a balcony over-looking over the pool,. All good.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms at the back as they are quieter.

The hotel rooms are ok for the price paid. No problems with the beds as they were the most comfortable we have slept in so far in Vietnam (not rock hard). The location is good. Free wi fi in room, but it kept dropping out a lot and could get frustrating, at times.
The pool was nice and warm and inviting. I cant swim in most pools in hotels as they are freezing.
Balcony was a decent size and had seats and a table on it.
The air conditioning in our room wasn’t adequate. Worked fine in the mornings and during the night. But our room was in the sun all afternoon. During the afternoon we couldn’t cool the room down to a comfortable temperature.
Apart from these few things, I have no complaints about the rooms. Breakfast was just ok. If the lady in there could learn to smile and look like she cared, then it would be an improvement.
The only thing that let this hotel down was the staff. They weren’t horrible, but indifferent, paid to do a job and that was it.

On Sunday we just wanted to relax and have some peace and quiet by the pool. The breakfast room/restaurant opens up onto the pool area. But the staff from the hotel, initially four of them then 1 or 2 more joined them in the double door way ( 2 metres from the pool), talking away to each other. They did not talk quietly. They yelled and screamed at each other even though they were only a few feet apart. We were forced to go back to our room as telling them to go away made no difference. the staff lacked people skills, definitely no consideration towards their customers.

Room Tip: If you room has the sun all afternoon, check the to see if the air conditioner works adequately in t...

On our 8 weeks of traveling Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, this was our favourite place!

The room was massive, very clean, beautiful bathroom and big comfy bed. We had a room facing toward the centre of the building where the pool was so was very quiet. Apparently the rooms facing the road get noisy but the hotel has fixed that by double glazing all the exterior windows. They showed us before we picked our room.

They have a wonderful pool in the centre of the hotel. This is great if you can't be bothered cycling the 20mins to the beach. Beach is awesome by the way. No rocks, just long sandy beach as far as the eye can see.

The buffet breakfast was the best we had on our trip. My favourite were the bacon crepes!

They recommended a good place to get suits made. We were very happy with the suits I had measured up.

Basically a combination of friendly helpful staff, luxurious surroundings for a fraction of the expected price, and the beauty of Hoi An made this our favourite place in all of SE Asia. Thank you for making it so fun for us!

A very nice hotel in a central location. You can walk to most places from here. The room was spacious and clean. Decor of bathroom was rather dark but it was perfectly clean and the shower good. I was on the 1st floor in the front but I'm a good sleeper so I wasn't bothered by any noise on the street.
The swimming pool was lovely to refresh after the day walking around town. There are great places for making clothes and shoes in Hoi An. I'm sorry I didn't plan this in advance as I would have decided what I wanted before going instead of making rushed choices. I never knew you could get shoes custom made in 24hrs!
Breakfast was ok. Afraid I had a bit of an iffy tummy while here so wasn't eating too much......not the hotels fault I might add.

One of our more interesting places to stay on our trip. I'll start by saying the rooms were clean and comfortable. I say rooms as we had 2 during our 4 days there. Room #1 was expansive when we entered and had a nice little balcony over the road our front so we could enjoy the passing scenery. Now, all you experienced Vietnam travelers can already see what happened here, we were serenaded from about 6AM on by the ever present motorcycle and car horns. Next morning we moved to a room at the back, whew, quiet now right? Nope. Certainly not the hotel's fault but middle aged group of Koreans decided this was a good time to pull an all nighter with most of it in the center area around the pool. Last 2 nights were kinda boring as we actually slept. The hotel itself is located well for those who want to stay in and around old town Hoi An as it is located right on the edge of that area. Contrary to what some have said, we had excellent and friendly service from all the staff. The breakfast is a good one with a wide variety of choices from a large self-serve center island, no limit as to how much you eat. We had laundry done just across the street for $1/kg-good job, drop it in the AM and get it back the same day. We also rented a motorcycle across the street for $5/day. It's a 4km walk to the beach(find the little dirt path that bicycles use so you can find the herb garden areas too) and cost the 2 of us $8 to rent a boat for a 1 1/2hr trip back up the river to town.

Room Tip: As has been mentioned, rooms on the back are quieter because they lack the street noise of the front...
