We stayed at the Ha An Hotel for 4 nights in early July 2013 and what a great stay we had there! It was the perfect base from which to see Hoi An for the first time.

A stunning mainly yellow and white series of double storey French colonial buildings which provide the backdrop to a lush and pretty tropical garden - truly a lovely spot for a holiday.

Our room was a Deluxe Garden View room comprising a very comfortable bedroom with plenty of room complete with large comfortable king size bed, large flat screen TV (which also doubled as a computer with the pressing of the right buttons on the control console) and a balcony. Adjoining the bedroom was a spotless ensuite bathroom featuring a bath, a shower, a toilet and a generous selection of toiletries. The room also had a very effective air-conditioning system which was a joy to return to after a day of wandering around Hoi An in the summer heat and humidity.

We also ate at the hotel restaurant which borders the hotel gardens on one side and the food was delicious. We were particularly appreciative of its delicious fare after arriving at the hotel about 10.15pm on the first night of our stay very hungry after a long journey that day from Halong Bay via Hanoi. The restaurant is also the place where you eat the very generous and varied breakfast which is included in the price of the room.

The hotel also offers a very reasonably priced and comfortable transfer service in a modern vehicle to and from Da Nang Airport which we took advantage of. We also did a really interesting day trip to Hue (be aware, though, it is a long day trip) through the hotel the price of which included the cost of use of the hotel's modern vehicle, the services of their driver and the services of an English speaking guide. We thought it good value and our glimpse of Hue has whetted out appetite to also return there.

All in all, this is a great little hotel - great facilities, very attentive and pleasant staff always ready to assist when needed and located not far from the centre of Hoi An's World Heritage Listed old town. We WILL return SOON!

Room Tip: All rooms look pretty good but, when we return, we will opt for a Deluxe Garden View room just like...

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel as it was a little further from the the old quarter - easy walk 5 mins and peaceful. Beautiful gardens. Room decor lovely and fresh - although noisy air conditioner and hard pillows. Wide choice at buffet breakfast - disappointed with croissants as ours were dry. Free use of bicycles fantastic - just check brakes first and if not comfortable swap for another. Staff were friendly when approached. Hotel restaurant saves trip into town at end of hot day if happy to relax in grounds- enjoyed the hammocks. Laundry service great. Would we stay here again? mmm not sure

This was a beautiful hotel to stay at in Hoi An. The tranquility when you entered the gate off the main road was lovely; and to just sit and have something delicious to eat and a cold drink was wonderful.
We had two rooms upstairs off the same staircase, and they were just beautiful. The decor was stunning, with lots of different lighting so practical but also beautiful.
A great location topped it off, with the market only a small walk down the street, passed lots of small shops, and some lovely old buildings. The river is just one street away, and the walk to the Japanese bridge is easy. If you wanted to go further, then the hotel has complimentary bikes that you can take out any time.
I would stay here if coming back to Hoi An.

Room Tip: Up stairs in the oldest section was great. A small balcony was nice to have too.

The staff are lovely here and do what they can for you. The location is good if your not a party amimal and it has the best coffee just down the road. The rooms are nice although our room did get smells through the bathroom window. Their price is a bit high but this is because of location. Will go back when price drops but until then will try others.

the atmosphere at this hotel is simply unique, its an oasis! beautiful architecture, beautiful rooms, the garden with hammocks and pool table is really nice. breakfast is one of the best i have ever seen. it really is an amazing place. bicycle rental is free. the lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly, however the restaurant staff seems rather annoyed and a bit incompetent. but thats a minor thing. also, do not use their spa, they bring you to a spa nearby and at least the pedicure is a joke. not worth it! but aside from these small details, this really is the hotel to stay at in hoi an!

Was very pleased with the visage of the hotel when I arrived from Hue. The room is nice and clean. The hotel also offer free bicycle for us to ride around the town. The hotel is just located 2mins walk from the old quarter and its in a nice and quiet part of the town but not too far away from the busy streets. Wifi connection is not very stable but I have no complains. Overall, I love this place and would definitely stay here again if I come Hoi An.

The hotel itself is very cute and the rooms are nice. The air con was really loud to try to sleep with it on. Breakfast was good although for me with allergies they didn't understand me so I had to pay for another breakfast anyway. The staff weren't super friendly or helpful. So mixed feelings here. Location was great though.
