Thanks so much for your time posting about us on Tripadvisor. On behalf of Nhi Nhi staffs, I appreciate your kind words to our staff and hotel. We hope to see you back to our hotel again.
We arrived late (almost midnight) in Hoi An and needed some place reasonably prices to stay.... the next few nights we were staying at a beach resort.
Well, this place was fantastic. The service was great, the breakfast good, and the staff was very eager to help us... in fact when they learned we were there for just one night they were disappointed!...
Place is about 3 block walk to old quarter... when you see how much walking you will do in the old quarter, that 3 blocks is nothing.
Do not have any reservations about staying at Nhi Nhi!
I stayed for two nights at the Nhi Nhi hotel in August 2012.
Overall I was impressed by both the quality of the rooms and the attentiveness of the staff.
The hotel is located a reasonable distance from Hoi An's old city, around 10-15 minutes by foot. It suited me fine, although it seemed further in the oppressive heat and humidity, for sure!
The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, but there was some initial confusion over the type of room I had booked. When I checked-in they told me that the single room that I reserved was not available, so they put me in a double room. They told me that the following morning I would have to move however. This was annoying, but I understood. Luckily, the next morning they then told me that I could stay at in the Double room.
They are also keen to sell you tours and bus tickets. Check around other agencies before you take there offered prices!
The room itself, although small, was very well appointed and included a nice balcony and chair, flat-screen tv, mini-bar, desk and drawers, and a bathroom with shower-tub. There was a well-working hot water geyser, but the water pressure was a little weak. The AC worked well and the bed was comfortable. The wifi worked, but wasn't such a strong connection. My bed was comfortable and the bed linens were high-quality.
The breakfast at the hotel was a definite plus. Included in the room rate, it was well cooked, served, and presented, and they offer you more than the usual hotel: giving you a choice of a plate of eggs with baguette or Vietnamese breakfast, or pancakes, with a plate of fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juice along with coffee or tea. I was impressed by this generous offering as its definitely better than the usual "included breakfast". Choose the fresh baguette over the toast though, it was just raw packaged white bread!
Overall I had a very good experience at this hotel with only the very few minor issues that I've mentioned. I would stay here again!
My husband and I stayed at Nhi Nhi whilst on honeymoon. The experience we had there was very positive. The best part of the experience was the staff who made us feel genuinely welcome and were such kind people. The hotel was very clean and full of character. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel with a relaxed atmosphere.
The only downside was the pool, it was quite small and although outside, the plan of the hotel makes it feel indoors. Having said that, the pool was always empty when we went in.
We were directed to Nhi Nhi by a taxi driver after checking out Ha An hotel and even the expensive Life Heritage Resort and finding that neither had a room that would accommodate our family of four + baby. We arrived after 11:00pm but Nhi had a large room with three beds that was perfect for us. We were welcomed very warmly and the staff loved our kids, especially the baby. The kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was great although I didn't realize they had pho and other options besides omelettes until the third morning. It should have been obvious to me because they had it displayed, but I didn't see the pot to make it there so was confused.
They were wonderful with arranging tours for us, purchasing train tickets, calling taxis, and everything else we needed. The most helpful and accommodating of any staff we had since we arrived in Vietnam.
Nice hotel, although not the cheapest, we were welcomed well every time we arrived at the hotel after a day or night out in Hoi An, although only one member of staff spoke good english, they were all very helpful. There was a problem with our room, as it had no hot water on the first night, but that wasn't an issue as the water wasnt cold, they also gave us a discount on the bill because of it, and offered to move our room for the second night. It is only a short walk into town and the pool was nice, overall great little hotel!
