This hotel was a little out of my budget for Hoi An but was totally worth spending the extra few dollars per night.

I arrived in Da Nang earlier than I expected (little did I know I was on the overnight express train from Tuy Hoa) and got in at 2am. Luckily I was able to score a lift into Hoi An with three German backpackers so just went where they were going! I booked in for one night at Thanh Van but decided to stay for three more.

The room was clean and spacious, with a comfy double bed and balcony overlooking the street. The aircon, wifi and hot water all worked great and I spent numerous hours lazing by the pool. The highlight of this hotel was definitely the staff. The girls were very friendly and the service was impeccable, they even addressed every guest by name, every time. They were helpful offering advice on the area whilst not being pushy to book anything with them. The hot buffet breakfast is also worth a mention.

I would definitely stay here again. It was also worth spending the extra money to be in a great location, walking distance to Old Town, the markets and the river.

Ok the pool is nice (but very small) nad breakfast ok. But many rooms have no view at all (wall 20 cm from the window) making rooms very dark (forced to switch on lights during sunny days... hard). The hotel is quite noisy. This morning, waked up at 7 am by plumbery works in the next room but the reception states that "No, it's not noisy".

Definitely the worst room WIFI we had in a month in Laos and Vietnam.

Frankly, The hotel is expensive for the service, compared to vietnamese standards.

The hotel and the room itself were lovely, bathroom was not very clean. Great staff and a Nice pool. Breakfast was good as well. Would recommend to others, Just make sure to ask for a quiet room, and check the bathroom.

Helpfull staff, good breakfast, nice swimmingpool, quite good location (but it takes 5-10 min to get to the center). The hotel charges a lot for booking tickets and tours, but it is quite normal for all the hotels in Hoi An and Vietnam.

Room Tip: Rooms upstairs are better, nice view of the swimmingpool.

Easy location, everything needed right there. Lovely pool, great breakfasts.....and the staff awesome. Alwayz smiling and happy, fun interaction. Room clean and comfortable. Was sad to leave. We would stay here again and have no complaints thus could do with a better shower!!
