“Great resort”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

Just got back from an 11 night stay and can only agree with all the other positive reviews about this resort. Fantastic room overlooking the gardens and down to the beach, spotlessly cleaned every day and all the staff warm, polite and friedly. Breakfast buffet outstanding with huge choice of both Western and Asian food. Food and drink at the resort a bit on the high side but reasonable for a resort of this quality. If you want to pay less though just walk across the road to the three or four local restaurants where you can enjoy great local food at very low prices. Its also just a five minute or so walk along the beach road to numerous beach side reataurants. All in all a first class beach resort in an excellen location, can't wait to get back.

Room Tip: Room 524 in the Jasmine block, fantastic room

A really lovely place to holiday all great, we ate in hotel every day as they several restuarants and the menu was good with local and western food, plenty to choose from. Take the Fishing trip it good day out for the family, also take bus into the town centre and have good walk around.

Room Tip: choose the appartments in the gardens they are cool in the heat.

It was about half hour drive to resort . Airport small easy to get through . Check in all ok and room very clean . There was some building works going on I did not but I am sure they would of moved you . We did not eat or drink in hotel simply because there was so many places to eat and prices good . Had my laundry done over the road . Hoi an is a very beautiful place and if you like clothes hand made to fit you will love it . Me and my son had a nice four day visit , and you can walk a long way I the beach .

Just spent 7 great days at Palm Garden beach resort Hoi an, we were upgraded to a bungalow on the beach. it was my husbands birthday on the day we arrived, when we got back to our room after dinner there was a beautifully decorated chocolate cake and roses in our rom, cant fault that for service. No complaints, would recommend to my friends. The only thing I would have liked is Yoga or Ti Chi on the beach. Highly recommend Saturday nights buffet.

A stunning location for this 5 star plus hotel. Although we only spent a couple of nights on or Vietnam tour it was well worth it.
The hotel is located directly on the beach with lovely gardens, pool and bar areas in the grounds.
The rooms are as good as any top quality hotel in Indochina and the restaurant first class.
The staff were attentive but unobtrusive and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our double room that housed a huge bed was spotlessly clean with all the amenities you would expect. The bed was firm and we enjoyed a good nights sleep.
One of the highlights was the evening barbecue buffet that provided for every taste with high quality food. Not to be missed.
We did not use the spa but fellow travellers praised it highly.

Room Tip: The rooms are spread throughout the grounds, ask for an ocean view.

We stayed here for 6 nights 15-21 March. We had booked a basic room but were upgraded to one with a sea view when I asked at check in. The only fault we could find with the room was the bathroom which was in need of a refit (they do seem to be completly renovating some on the far side of the hotel)
The hotel was very quiet for our stay so we were always able to find sunbeds at any time of the day either in the sun or shade. The lifeguards will always help with moving them if you wish. It was nice not to have to deal with sunbed hogs!
We used both the Golden Lotus and Casa Mia across the road for dinner and the food in both was very good and about a quarter of the price of the hotel (2 vodka and coke, 2 bottles beer, 2 mains with rices and 2 desserts were £15). We also ate in a restaurant called Miss Ly in Hoi An three times as we liked it so much. The hotel bars and restaurants were almost
empty every night which meant there was no atmosphere. The prices were about the same as England but people who ate there said the quality was poor. 15% has to be added to the bill which doesn't help.
We went into Hoi An several times on the 4pm shuttle (which was very busy and a bit of a scramble) and returned by taxi for 80,000 dong (£2.50) Hoi An is a real experience - we loved it -especially after dark with the lanterns all lit and the Japanese bridge illuminated.
On our last day we had to check out at midday so we showered in the spa before the taxi collected us at 6pm. Towels and toiletrys are provided along with a hairdryer.
We fully recommend this hotel but it is a shame that everyone seems to eat and drink elsewhere.

Room Tip: No to the right side of the hotel as there are renovations going on (the area which would be behind...

We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights and although a 5 star rating, in truth it falls short of that.
The first room we had 313 was clean and presented nicely. One problem was the thin walls, the result of noisy neighbours top, side and below who didn't give one thought about others, resulted in us moving to a high level room, which minimised the noise at night.
The second room 327 was just like the first, but with the advantage that the doors to the balcony actually closed properly. However we had to have the aircon looked at twice because on two occasions it just switched off at night.
The staff were excellent and the service impeccable. The grounds are very well kept and very nice indeed.
The beach has to be one of the best we have ever been on. The sea is shallow and accessible directly from the hotel grounds.
The beach furniture is looking a bit tired but the guys in attendance on the beach cater for your every need always with a smile. Many thanks to all the staff we could not fault anyone of you.
The rooms are starting to tire, but they are clean well serviced and the beds comfortable.
As I said not a 5 star hotel but dont let that put you off. Its in a great location for Hoi An, with a great beach and great staff, is spotless and clean. We would come back here without a second thought. (also see Golden Lotus Review - Hoi An).

Room Tip: Pick a high floor preferably with only one neighbour
