I've just spent two weeks in Vietnam. From the Halong bay to the Mekong valley, we did as much as we could in the very short time we had.
We didn't stay more than one night in each city or town we traveled to. So we have stayed in over 10 different hotels. I am pleased to say that the Phu Thinh was the best, by far!
It's not a luxurious hotel, but you will feel incredibly well looked after by the staff, from the moment you arrive, to the moment you leave.
The room we had was perfect. Once again, not the biggest, but just exactly what we needed. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom, balcony with a terrific view over the rice fields... and the swimming pool, surrounded by trees.
We had breakfast outside (so much better than being stuck in a room, knowing how warm it can be even in the morning in Vietnam!) More
