Picturesque setting overlooking the river. Breakfast was a magical experience sitting out watching the early morning fishermen at work. Strolled along the beach which is opposite the resort. Two pools. Beg rooms and great service. Walking distance to very cheap local places to eat

Just across a not too busy road from a lovely soft sand beach and overlooking a scenic tiver on the other side The Hoi An beach resort is in an ideal location. The spacious bungalows are set in pretty well maintained gardens. The two pools again well kept have delightful river views. There is a useful free shuttle [12 minutes] into the beautiful and bustling town. Ever smiling helpful staff are always on hand. A very god buffet breakfast is served. Although the restaurant is not cheap for other meals, the beach has plenty of good inexpensive restaurants all within 5 walk. Across the road from the hotel;s side entrance there are more cfes and restaurants as well as clothing and tailoring shops.

Room Tip: The bungalows are better than the rooms in the blocks.

Hoi An Beach Resort was lovely. The staff were fantastic - we were unhappy staying at another place in Hoi An and travelled out to the beach to find alternative accommodation. Unfortunately the resort was booked out that day so we organised to stay for the next two nights. The staff at reception were really helpful - suggesting that we book online to get the best rate and then advising us which room would suit us best.

We booked a single ocean view room for two adults and two children which worked out to be perfect. The room was spacious and very clean. There was a double, king single and we requested an extra bed. The room did not feel crowded and was very comfortable. We were facing the road with the beach opposite. Unfortunately our ocean views were hindered by the waving palm trees. There was a little traffic noise but it certainly didn't impact on our sleep.

The pools were lovely, especially the pub pool (what my son calls the pool bar). The staff there were fantastic and really loved interacting with the kids and they make a really mean mojito. Food at the restaurant was good.

The hotel is a little bit dated - but this really just added to the charm. It is a fantastic spot alongside a river where you can watch fishermen during the day and at night, the hotel puts out beautfiul floating lanterns - just gorgeous. A maid hand delivered a beautiful traditional stoary to our room the first night - little touches like that make a stay so memorable. There is a private beach across the road where you can spend the day relaxing on a lounger - again just gorgeous. Town is a quick taxi drive away. There is a shuttle service but cabs are so cheap we just used them.

We would definitely stay here again. Service was friendly and professional and it was a divine way to finish our stay in Hoi An.

Booked this place sight unseen, very pleasantly surprised. Spread out, low rise buildings, furnishings modern, rooms spacious and bathrooms comfortable. Across the road from a vast white sand beach, a real gem even in December storms off the South China Sea. Hotel pool was clean and has a swim up bar. Food is fine in main restaurant, buffet at breakfast has Asian and Western food, lots of fresh produce even in winter. Rented kayak for paddling on river behind resort, not expensive and staff friendly and helpful. Always smiling. Taxis available into Hoi An or can even take an hour water taxi back to resort from town. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms closest to road can be a little noisy on sunny days with beach traffic.

I have stayed in the Hoi An Hotel many times but this was my first stay in the Hoi An Beach Resort. The rooms are of a similar style to those in the Hoi An Hotel except they are broken up into 8 room 2 story blocks. There are a number of small local restaurants close by and the beach is just across the road.

I enjoyed my stay here but I found it was a little too far away from the Hoi An old town and its amazing array of shops. There is a shuttle bus but it is small and often packed, and with 2 hours between buses often a taxi is the only option which is okay since it costs only about 3 dollars for the trip by meter,

If you are a dedicated shopper then I would suggest you stay at the Hoi An Hotel. If you want to relax and ignore the shopping then the Hoi An Beach Resort is the place to be.

The staff are friendly, the food is good but I would point out, if you have mobility problems then insist on a ground floor, there are no lifts at all in this resort. Breakfasts were good.
