I was in a group of four who stayed at the Hotel in March 2007, I have tried to find fault somewhere but cant. The staff were friendly and eager to help.

I would recomend the Hotel to anyone.

When I arrived at the Hoi An hotel, I was shown a very large room on the third floor (walk up) that was quiet pleasant with large lovely windows looking out on a flowered balcony and outdoor hotel restaurant. All the windows were open and there was a pleasant breeze. The problem came in the evening when I closed the windows and curtains. The room became a bit musty and I really had a difficult time - my eyes watered, my nose ran and I felt almost sick. I am not particulary sensitive to this type of thing but I certainly had a bad reaction - it was a bit better when I opened the windows again. Otherwise, the hotel is in a nice, convenient location. Lots of group tours and buses in front.

This hotel is perfect for a nice, romanic getaway. The hotel is almost as charming as the small shopping village of Hoi An. The staff is so nice, and very honest, the rooms were clean, well lit, and romantic, and the location was just a short walk from everything the town has to offer (shopping is pretty much it.). The breakfast was good, not great... but it had a lot of fresh fruit and western and asian style dining. I will come back to this hotel upon my return to Hoi An.

If you want to be bathed in florescent lighting for your time in Hoi An -- go ahead and book with this hotel. However, if you prefer a more subdued and relaxing trip -- I would suggest to book elsewhere. This hotel is starting to get its act together with towel service at the pool but has a long way to go to meet traveler's needs. Breakfast was poor -- not a lot of choice and not great quality. It is close to the shopping area but there are many other cuter options in this beautiful city.

Hoi An is a charming town and the Hoi An hotel is the perfect location to base yourself to see it all. Conveniently located to all amenities, tailors and bars, it has a lovely pool area and well appointed, simple rooms in a traditional style. We ate at the restaurant for dinner one night and were very impressed. Staff and friendly and helpful and take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming ambience. Will definitely stay again on a return to Hoi An!
