After reading the awful reviews about this hotel on the way here on our tour we were VERY pleasantly surprised at the standard on the room. Despite all the bad reviews we found the beds comfy, the safe worked, excellent wifi, very clean sheets, good housekeeping services with well stocked supplies, all lights and a/c working well, no bugs and a very modern light and airy decor. I can only assume management has acted upon the bad reviews and done some serious upgrading. We were on the ground floor overlooking the pool. The only negative was the powerful smell of mould which we complained about the minute we entered the room and within 5 minutes the staff arrived with a eucalyptus air freshener that deal with the problem instantly. The hotel is in a great location. Next door is a laundry mat us$1 per kilo to wash and press clothes, a wonderful spa and only a couple minutes walk to the night market and old quarter.
Highly recommend this hotel

we had a ground level pool side room - nice room with a good terrace looking over the pool and gardens.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Room always kept clean and grounds were spotless. Lovely gardens to sit and enjoy some quiet time - happy hour in the afternoon where they also provide some local food for guests to enjoy
It was within walking distance of the town and on the other side of the river - a pleasant walk at any time of the day or night.
There are a couple of laundry places across the street from the hotel who do a great job for not much money. Drop off in the morning and its back by end of day.

Room tip: pool and garden view rooms are very nice and have a small terrace or balcony

We stayed here for 2 nights and we were impressed with the little thoughts of giving cold towels and welcome drink upon checkin, the free hotel boat ride and the afternoon tea time sampling of vietnamese cakes(kuih-muih). Stayed in the garden view with a little balcony overlooking the pool. Another plus point is the location of the resort which is only about 5-10minutes walk from the daily night market and the lantern bridge. Food wise is abundant as well as money exchangers. Managers also come to greet daily during breakfast and any questions can be shared with them. The staffs are all very pleasant and helpful with an English level much higher and easier to communicate compared to another established hotel managed by Centara in Vietnam whose hospitality skills and English needs to be brushed up.

Rooms are clean and well equipped, wi fi, brilliant service from reception to house keeping, to food service delivered with a smile at levels we rarely see in Australia. The mini bar prices are even good. We took advantage of the complimentary boat trip but didn't try the street food this time because it can replace dinner. The breakfast buffet is a treat - where else can you mix dumplings with bacon and eggs and fried rice. The pool area wasn't crowded in spite of the hotel being booked out for the long weekend. We did eat in - taking advantage of the BBQ cook at your table offer - a brilliant idea and we are so glad we had Tan to cook for us. Great value over all and a special place to stay because of the friendly staff.
