Location is faultless, right on the corner of the main street looking over the bridge and the river. Food was quite enjoyable, fried squid and the local special white rose both delicious. Vegeterian spring rolls also delicious. For lunch a definite go to

We ate here and picked a table on the upper balcony. The view over the river and street is fabulous but we can't say the same for the food. We had the spring rolls for entree and these were ok. It was the mains that let the place down. We ordered the frog in butter sauce and the duck with mushrooms. Both of which should have been tasty. The frog arrived deep fried and burnt tasting with a dipping sauce consisting of salt mixed with a couple of drops of water. Quite horrible. The duck came with only two mushrooms but strangely quite a lot of squid. What it didn't come with was any flavour or taste. Odd as duck is usually a very tasty meat. We had a banana and a mango smoothie which were warm so it's not even a nice spot to enjoy a drink. Shame really as they have one of the best locations in town.

Hoi An is a wonderful place. Quiet canals lit by paper lanterns, very romantic. Imagine all of that and incredible food? This place has it. Most dishes are $3-$4. The prawns in butter pepper sauce is delicious. Tonight we tried prawns, chicken, eel, fried spinach, rice. All were prepared with care and very tasty. Plus, you can people watch the canals.

We selected this place for the location and we not disappointed. The food was good, service was slow but polite. Food prices ok about $5 per main, wine over priced as is usual in Vietnam. I had the sea fish w garlic, very fresh and very tasty. Everyone was happy with their meals. Not much atmosphere but we made our own.
