Stayed here in a pool villa for a couple of nights in mid March. It's on the riverbank in a quite residential area an easy 10 minute walk to theI Old Quarter. The whole surrounding area is very flat, so comfortable to explore on the resort's pushbikes, with the local beaches and seafood restaurants only about a 5km ride through picturesque rice paddies.
The resort itself is only a few months old and consists of 16 villas, with clearly considerable effort spent on the landscaping. Our pool villa had a spacious bathroom with bathtub and twin basins, a smallish bedroom with comfortable bed, and and a separate sparsely furnished sitting room. The bedroom opens onto a small private terrace with a plunge pool/jacuzzi, which is not very private as the next door villa's jacuzzi is only a meter away, with just a few shrubs between. At times the bathroom water pressure was fine, but sometimes the flow pulsed, and occasionally stopped altogether for 10 or 20 seconds at a time.
There's a small communal pool by the river but there's no gym, just a couple of basic machines outside next to the path.
We only had the included breakfast once as the concept of an open air breakfast next to the river didn't quite work. We arrived about 9am and the temperature was already in the high 20's (deg C) so the staff were having trouble keeping the cold stuff (juice, fruit, yoghurt, etc) cold without refrigeration, while most of the "hot" items (sausages, bacon, etc) were cold. About the only thing that was the right temperature was the to-order eggs. All the fruit juice ran out at one point and a request for more was met with a smile from the staff and a statement of "finished... ". It looked like there was some new structure being built next to the breakfast gazebo which may solve some of these problems, but noisy construction continued only a couple of meters from where guests were trying to have a relaxing meal.
The staff were very pleasant, although it was a little disconcerting to have them leap out of their seats to greet guests each time you passed through the lobby.

I stayed with my husband at the Hoi An Marina Resort & Spa for 3 nights, loved the Resort without question, what is not to like, clean and quiet, spacious each and every room, wifi is the amazingly fast, I believe each room has its own cable. Breakfast is light and healthy, fresh juices in the morning :) ...can't go wrong with that. Staff were very helpful and prompt to get the answers. Wish could stay longer next time. Loved the mattress and big king size bed. All white linens and very earthy tone of decors which soothing my soul of the entire stay. Took the boat around the river which was very relaxing, easy way to get rid off jetlag. The owner and his wife are very nice and pleasant. Just 5 minutes bike ride to the old HoiAn town....love that town, must see to experience, can't describe with words. Will come back for sure with my children next time. Thank you!!

Arrived at the Hoi An Marina Resort after three wonderful days on Halong Bay.
Booked a Marina Pool Villa with Jacuzzi Villa 101.

From our arrival we were greatly impressed with the size and quality of the villa.
The pool villa we had booked consists of a large lounge area that looked out over the river and over the Jacuzzi, the lounge room was equipped with an large internet enabled smart TV.
The bedroom looked out over the Jacuzzi and down to the river, the sliding doors were able to be opened so we could walk directly out onto the deck (Sliding doors in the bedroom were double thickness to block out any noise). The bed was king size and the best I have slept in, a dresser and a desk was provided along with a good sized flat screen TV. There was a nook for the cases and a wardrobe with ample hanging space and a safe. The bathroom was large with a really comfy bath, separate shower and toilet and in the centre of the bathroom were double sinks with a large mirror.
The resort Spa was good but like all resort Spa's was overpriced, there are so many spas in Hoi An that are cheaper offering the same services i.e. the Hoi An Day Spa – a 90 minute full body massage was approximately $15USD.
The resort is in a great location just a short stroll into town or you can ride one of the push bikes that the resort supplies free of charge. There are many places to eat, drink or have a massage. The shopping is also very good, they will give you the price in either Dong or USD (don’t forget to barter on the asked price).
If you don't want to pay the hotel price for your washing there is a couple of Laundry services in the streets just round the corner from the resort opposite the Vin Hung Emerald Resort where the cost was $1USD per kilo and if you are lucky they will iron it for you for the same price or for a slight charge.

In short
The good
-Friendly staff always trying to please.
-Fantastic Villa, with a terrific bed.
-Fast WiFi for each villa.
-Location was great for exploring the town or relaxing if you wish.

Recommended improvements in no way complaints:
-Stabilisation of the water pressure as it surged considerably whilst having a shower.
-It would be good for a drink waiter to walk around the pool and surrounds taking orders for drinks and food once in a while.
-The occasional discount on the spa menu to entice the use of the in house spa services.
- Chairs and a table on the villa deck.
- Privacy screen between pool villa's Jacuzzi areas.

Finally
A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay such a pleasant one. We loved this place so much that we will definitely be back for another visit. We really loved Hoi An.

Room Tip: Room 101 is the most private Jacuzzi Villa as it sits in the front corner of the resort up against t...

I love everything about the beautiful city of Hoi An and this hotel is no exception. It is set in beautiful lush gardens against the river, a peaceful oasis just a short walk from the town.

Rooms are lovely, quite spacious and nicely designed. The pool, although small is clean and a nice place to relax after a hot day.

Breakfasts are simple affairs but there is something quite charming about eating in the little gazebo set aside for this purpose. We also tried room service and the spa, both of which we where satisfied with.

The real reason this hotel gets five stars though is because of the staff. They bent over backwards to make us feel special and give us a stress-free break. They were incredibly friendly, learning our names, always smiling and going the extra mile. I didnt find them annoying in any way at all, just charming, despite the views of a previous reviewer. They were especially lovely with our three year old, even playing hide and seek with him in the garden! Each day they helped us set up bicycles with a little toddler seat up front so that we could explore the town at our own pace.

I would come back in a heartbeat!

My wife and I recently spent 3 days at this resort and found it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle but still only minutes away from Old Hoi An town. The staff were extremely friendly and the owners were a delight. The rooms were spacious and clean, well appointed, equipped with Internet and solid wifi.connectivity. Breakjfast each morning by the river is a great way to start the day. Old Hoi An town is only 5 minutes walk but there are bikes available for a better tour of the Town. We will plan to return to this resort later this year when we have more time to tour the area.

We stayed at Marina Hoi An for 1 night only but it was a wonderful stay. Staffs are friendly, very helpful and enthusiastic. Room facilities are pretty modern, nice design with great view by facing to the pool and river. Price is reasonable for two which is included breakfast. We really enjoyed our room Pool Villa with private jacuzzi, that was awesome. The location is not too far from the center only 5 mins walking. We'll definitely come back to stay there and recommend Marina Hoian Resort & Spa to our friends, colleagues as we believe that they would enjoy their stay completely once they get experience at Marina Hoian Resort.

Room Tip: Pool Villa which is facing to the river.

Neither me or my Partner had been to Vietnam before and really wanted the perfect experience. We got this with our first stop in Hoi An.

The Hoi An Marina was an Oasis in a busy bustling river market town that was truly magical. The facilities were really fabulous and exceptionally intimate with beautiful gardens a lovely little restaurant, a pool to die for and the rooms were sheer perfection.

We were really sad to leave and actually wished we had booked to stay longer because the staff were so lovely and friendly and the location of the site was really close to most of the attractions and shops

I have never felt so important as the staff made me feel during our stay and I can guarantee that I will be telling all of my friends to stay there.

The best part about this place is that it was not a huge complex with hundreds of guests and loads of noise - it was a place to truly unwind and marvel about the beautiful country and lovely people

Thank you Hoi An Marina - you made our holiday absolutely perfect - Simon and Adrienne
