Enjoying our fifth holiday in Vietnam and fourth in Hoi An, a highlight has again been returning to our favourite restaurant.
Owner Linh is one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet and to enjoy her friendly service was again a treat.
The food is exceptionally good and the menu is extensive. All the food we have enjoyed at this restaurant has been fresh and delicious. An appetiser I recommend trying are the fried Wantons, which have amazing flavours combining with the perfectly crispy shells. For mains the grilled Snapper with butter and garlic is a sensational dish. It is a 500-600 gram fresh snapper which Linh buys daily from the markets, wrapped in a banana leave and covered with various spices and vegetables. Cost is under US$10 for the whole fish and it’s a treat not to be missed.
On our last visit last December we had the pleasure of doing Linh’s cooking class. Going to the markets with Linh, doing the cooking class and then eating the food we cooked was one of the best experiences we have had in Vietnam – Highly recommended.
So far we have only tried one of the top 3 rated restaurants, in Hoi An, on Tripadvisor and this is 100 times better (check out our other reviews).
Don’t go by the website map. It is directly opposite the Palm Gardens resort hotel.
