“Brilliant food and really good cooking class”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

We had lunch at Tin Tin and really loved the food. They also do a cooking class which we booked for the next day. The cooking class was fab; trip to the market & then we cooked 3 main dishes and 1 starter. The best thing about it was that it was just us (as apposed to ones in town which are more of a crowd) and this meant we could really get involved with the cooking, chatting to our teacher & also at the market we told her we liked the sugar cane and she got us some juice. The cooking was fantastic, we were upset we couldnt finish it all - so much food. Really recommend this for either eating, cooking class or both! Well worth a $2 taxi ride. Thank you Tin Tin for such a fab time. Would just like to say here also, we didnt have a long wait time but its 2 sisters in the kitchen cooking so if you do have to wait a little keep in mind a) its a family run business, b) the food is worth it and c) you're on holiday so what's the rush ;)

“Absolutely faultless!!!”
Reviewed June 19, 2013 via mobile

We were staying in sunshine hotel opposite this restaurant and once we ate here, we didn't eat anywhere else. Firstly, it really winds me up when people moan about slow service. When you go to the restaurant you will see it is a small family run business, and during busy times in the evening it can take a little longer. But we were informed of this as we were a group of 6 and we were told that they'd rather bring all our food put at the sane time and it's all cooked fresh. The first place in 7 weeks travelling Asia where they have bothered! And the service provided is brilliant, very happy and friendly.

Now the food, I had 3 dishes, Cau Lau, duck with cashews and chicken curry. All 3 were amazing, cooked perfectly, and the portions were bigger than anywhere else. And cheaper! They provided us with complimentary nuts before dinner and free fruit after. I strongly recommend this place it is a gem not to be missed!

“Waited more than an 1 hour for food”
Reviewed June 18, 2013 via mobile

We arrived at the restaurant with 3 tables already occupied with customers and we ordered one pork clay hotpot and one pork hotpot...
We were told there would be a wait but 1 hour and 15minutes later the food finally arrived. The food was really delicious but the long wait was too long. There were other tables being served before ours which was a little annoying.

“One of the best in Hoi An”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

It's worth to find this place even if you stay not in the hotel in front of it but somewhere else in the town. The food is really excellent, always cooked especially for you. Very friendly service! Fresh and delicious! Price is not so high as well. While staying for a long time I came here almost every day, because here I can be sure of service and food quality! As a result I tried almost the whole menu :) And almost every dish may be called their speciality! Definitely will return when coming again to Hoi An.

“Great Cooking Class”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

Apart from this being a great little restaurant, I highly recommend the Cooking Class. For $22 is was fantastic value, and a very hands-on experience. We started with a tour through the local market. I was lucky - there were 2 of us doing the class and 2 people to teach us, so we essentially ended up with a one-on-one cooking lessons. We each got to choose 4 dishes from the restaurant menu to cook. And of course the girls were just lovely - informative, helpful and very patient with a "not-so-good" cook! Even I feel confident that I will be able to cook these dishes at home!!
