Nice hotel , very quite and a little out of the main town , they have a free shuttle bus which runs at certain times through the day . Spa is bit pricey for what you get . Gym could be but more updated . Breakfast buffet good ,could do with more selection . Staff very friendly and helpful

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. Beautiful unspoilt beach, lovely room and very friendly staff. Short $5 taxi fare to Hoi An.
A couple of things though - privacy here is hard to find. The rooms are all open at the front and if you leave your curtains open to enjoy the view everyone can see in to your room.
My wife and I found the food in the resort terrible. Our room service food was inedible and the seafood dinner buffet was not very fresh. Nice place to stay but do yourself a favour and take the short ride into Hoi An town for a cheap, tasty meal.

We recently returned from 8 days in this idealic spot where the staff couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable and we had everything we needed at all times. Great location and private and clean accommodation with lovely garden and beach views.

Me and my family were exploring Vietnam for 2 weeks during last July. We planned our trip to be very intensive so we had decided to take a 3 days break in the middle of the trip. We chose Victoria Hoian and haven't been sorry about it.
The resort was a perfect place for resting in a beautiful place and atmosphere with very good food , service , beach and pool. Very nice rooms with perfect aircondition.

Room Tip: The river view rooms are good enough and much cheaper

We arrived at the Victoria Hotel on 4th September for 10 nights after staying in Ho Chi Minh for 2 nights.

The Victoria Hotel is set in beautiful surroundings and has a lovely stretch of well kept beach. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and have a wonderful sense of humour!

A favourite place to eat was the beach front restaurant which has wonderful relaxed seating area as well as formal dining, so if you just want to pop in for a cocktail, cup of tea or a meal this a great place to do so as it has such a wonderful atmosphere - gazing out to sea and watching the lights of the fishing boats of an evening was great.

My husband got up early to take a stroll along the beach and was fortunate to see the water buffalo raking the beach.

I visited the Spa (3 times in one day!) - I started with a facial, then a hot stone massage and then a manicure. Although it would have been cheaper outside of the hotel, I found the Victoria's spa a wonderful and relaxing place to be (I paid approx. £72.00 in total for all 3 things, which I think is good value). I did try and persuade my husband to visit (as there were couples having treatments together).

We also went on the fabulous motorbike and side car tour of the local countryside, which was well worth the £20 we paid (this lasted an hour). We also visited Hoi An town by catching the boat (which you book through the hotel and is situated just across the road) again this was good value for £20.

There are some local shops (including a supermarket which has most of the basics that you would need) just 10 mins walk away, just cross over to the other side of the road when leaving the hotel, turn right and follow the road round.

We absolutely loved the town of Hoi An, for its beauty (especially at night when it is lit up with lanterns) and its wonderful people who go out of their way to help you. The hotel provide a free shuttle bus at certain times of the day (we only used this once as we prefer to come and go as we please and the local taxis only cost approx. £3.00).

We feel that the total experience of the hotel and Hoi An town itself made this our best holiday ever.

We didn't sleep there but pay for a day use while we waited for our flight to Hanoi. We really liked the beach, the pool and the hotel facilities. Although the spa needs some updating. It's a good option if you want to spend some time at the beach in style.

We toured Vietnam for our honeymoon in April / May and stayed at The Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa B&B for three nights. After a nice welcome drink, we were shown to our room. The sea view room was beautiful and we were 20 metres from the sand and sea. The breakfast was lovely. So much to choose from. Try the Vietnamese coffee, hot or cold (they are totally different, but equally yummy) they're fab! . The Staff as in all of Vietnam could not do enough to help or serve you (Thank you). Do not hesistate staying at this wonderful place.
We did not try the spa, so did not rate it.
Some tips:
1 / Hoi An is a beautiful place, with lovely people, who are very friendly and easy to talk to. The restuarants and food were amongst the best we tasted on our trip. Ms Ly Cafeteria was amazing. Cao Lau ( a Hoi An speciality) Thick udon noodles with sliced pork and greens was delicious. Goi coun (Fresh, not fried spring rolls) with prawns. mmmmmmmmmmm and the favourite dish of our stay Rau muong xao toa (morning glory) vietnamese greens in garlic and chilli.......... take me back.
2 / The hotels have free bike hire which are great for exploring the area
3 / Massages in the hotel are expensive compared with the local venues. You can call a local massage palour and they will send a taxi to pick you up (at their expense). We were treated drinks and a gift along with a very relaxing massage for about 300,000 Dong. - £10 !!!!!!! for both of us ( We tipped the same ).
4 / If you feel up to it get up at 5.30 am and watch the sunrise on the beach and the many local people jogging and walking by the sea shore. It was a lovely time to to walk and talk in nice temperatures ( from 12 noon it was very hot ) to the locals before breakfast.

Happy holidays

Room Tip: Any seaview room
