We purchase this as part of the Deals.com promotion. What we enjoy most is the salon that provides massage and other therapies. This is included in our promotion, as such we tried different types of therapy each day. We had 2 hours/pp/day. I was introduced and very much love the massage oil they used which was from the popular Thai brand, Thann!

The above is my highlight. Second is the breakfast which is full of variety. Love the congee. Different congee everyday. I think I like the local one with prawns.

Other comments
- room are a bit small. Nevertheless we enjoy the cleanliness of it and it being the resort being 1yr old.
- shuttle bus and airport transfer is included which makes our journey a little more hassle free. I think the last shuttle finished at 8pm. There are times where we hang out later in the city and conviently catch one of the green taxi back to hotel. I think the taxi ride is about US$5.

We spent 7 nights at the resort. Simply amazing and stunning!!!

The day spa and the staff are so friendly. The facial massage, definate must. We found the resort, just beautiful. our room looked over the ocean and we could watch the sunrise in the morning.
The pools are well layed out, with towels and bar/food service.
The beach was beautiful, but it is getting corraded, but they are trying to do something about it with huge sandbags. The waves are fairly big that come in onto the beach, so supervision is needed if you have children.

The reception staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and things you can do.
The restaurants are very nice, the food is excellent and a huge choice on the menu. Breakfast is excellent., again a huge choice in the mornings . You can dine in the restaurant near reception or down on the beach frontage. The views are simply breathtaking, you can spend over an hour just having breakfast and relaxing a

The rooms are just beautiful. Comfortable beds. Clean. Bathroom was excellent layout.
Plenty of room.

The resort has the most beautiful gardens to walk around. They also have push bikes, that you can ride around. Tour desk is very helpful, if you want to take tours from the hotel. We took a bicycle tour. Excellent day out to see the locals.

Hoi An, is a lovely small town, rich in history, you can spend hours, walking through the small streets, shopping, markets, getting lost in the cultural and language. People are everywhere and bikes/scooters are everywhere.

It was always nice to go back to the Resort and rest.

NOTE: If you want your washing done, just walk outside the resort and down the hill. There is lots of places to get your clothes washed and folded, CHEAP drinks/chips/nibbles, great little restaurants with local food. Its all so cheap.

My partner and I would highly recommend this hotel for families and individuals. They have a great kids club there.

We will definately be coming back again. Its been a long time I felt so safe, happy, rested, so spoilt by the staff and day spa staff. Management should be very proud to present such a wonderful resort.

Where to start............we were ignored in the restaurant at lunch after checking in. We pointed this out to one of the wait staff, but to no avail. The restaurant manager did not attend our table, rather he stayed by the bar and spoke to the waiter. Our minibar was not replenished the next day. To get 2 cans of coke was drama. A promise of 5 minutes needed a phone call to reception after 30 minutes. When it was delivered, it was warm. Another phone call to reception sort of fixed the problem. The man who bought up the 2 cans of cold coke removed the minibar as we reported the coke that had been delivered was warm. No amount of telling him the minibar was working could stop him from pulling it out and checking it.
On the plus side, the bar behind reception was a pleasure to have a drink at. The staff were attentive and polite.
The pool was as warm as toast, like a warm bath. We were told that large blocks of ice were delivered at 1300 each day for the guests to play with in an attempt to cool it down. This was the first time where I had to get out of a pool to get refreshed!
The hotel has only been open for a year. It has many signs of bad workmanship. The tiling is uneven in the wet areas, grout is falling out and there are similar events on the walkways outside. Some of the construction work looks like it has been done by a six year old, it is that sloppy.
All in all, an absolute disappointment. Fortunately, our stay was only 2 nights. Next time we will stay elsewhere.

Room Tip: Dont stay here if there is another hotel available.

We stay 6 nights as part of a Deals.com (voucher) deal. We were located on the third floor with a beautiful view over the gardens, pools and ocean. The room was very spacious and had the largest bed we have ever seen & the pillows were to die for (they were so soft). Overall, we were impressed. We do not normally stay in 5 star, so our expectations were very high.
One thing that surprised us was the price of wine ($81 AUD/bottle of Aussie wine). Needless to say we did not drink any and went across the road and purchased wine at about 1/4 the price. At the resort, we had the occasional glass of wine & beer and a few cocktails as happy hour. We consider that the high price of the wine is self-defeating as others who were staying there at the same time we also bringing in wine from outside.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the doormen especially were brilliant. Shuttle bus was good - don't forget to book.
We booked a tour to My Son through the tour desk. The brochure said that we would picked up and brought back to the resort. To our surprise, the tour ended at a small restaurant in Hoi An itself. I asked the tour guide where did we catch the bus to get back to the Resort, but he informed us that the tour had ended, therefore, we all had to make our own way back to our hotels. One Russian young lady, who spoke very little English & whose hotel on the other side of town, was somewhat distraught at having to find her own way back to her hotel.
On our return to the hotel, I pointed this out to the tour desk, who indicated that the tour operators had changed the tour. I suggested that they should cross out "return to the hotel" on each of the brochures. I checked the following day and it hadn't happened, so I raised it again. I hope this has been rectified.
Overall, a very pleasant stay - don't forget to book the "Taste of Hoi An Tour" - it was excellent (details on website).

Surprisingly a very nice resort. Beautiful sun, hot sandy beach, 2 swimming pools to swim in, it was a very relaxing stay. Food selection was adequate and the staff was very attentive.

I've stayed at deluxe double room with ocean view. The room was spacious, it had the best view of South China and beautiful sunrise. Although the closet was a little dusty, I had very comfortable sleep for my entire stay.

If you need any tour arrangements, there is a tour agent always available at the lobby near the elevator.

Room Tip: Book a room with ocean view for better sunrise view.

We stayed here a week ago, service was excellent, we didn't have to wait to check in, the lemon grass welcome juice was delicious and very refreshing. Our room was big with ocean view. i do agree with the no privacy in the bathroom; however, hotel put some blinds fixing the issue, we didn't bother since we are a couple. We had a personal note along with red wine bottle and fruits welcoming us. In the afternoon we had a cake congratulating us for our honey moon which i think it was a nice touch from the hotel. No problem with shuttle schedule or renting the bicycles. We had early breakfast to avoid the crowds but we didn't see any.The only thing we were not agree with was the drinks price, we understand is a new resort in a very touristic city but drink prices were to high so we had our cocktails at downtown where is three times cheaper. .

Room Tip: Ocean view room is our suggestion

We had 6 nights at Sunrise. Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The staff were great, very friendly especially Dung in the restaurant. He greeted us each morning with great enthusiasm and a big smile and made sure we were looked after. We had a suite which was very nice and roomy but I would have liked a clock in the room. It was a bit hit and miss as to whether we got fresh towels in the evening and some would leave the room with face washers, some not. We came at a particularly hot time, even the staff said it was very hot and I found there wasn't much shade around the pool. We would find a lounge chair with some shade but it would be gone in 15 minutes so we were always chasing the chairs for shade as were everyone else. In the end we stayed in our room a lot as it was too hot in the sun. Overall Sunrise is a very nice resort with very friendly people but if I came back, I would choose a cooler time of year.
