“Traditional restaurant with friendly service”
Reviewed February 20, 2013 via mobile

Out of town , but just down the road from Boutique Hoi An Hotel .

We ended up here when our friend was taken ill and didn't want to eat out so we looked for something local .

It's not like Cargo or Secret Garden in the Center of town where the food is at a different price point . This is good local cooking with friendly service in what is best described as basic surroundings . The service is very friendly and the food cooked to order do be prepared to wait , especially if its busy . The baked fish was excellent .
Portions were small but adequate .

Overall a good choice if a trip to town is too much trouble and extremely good value

“still great!”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

Still living up to the reviews. We are staying at the Palm Garden. Great resort but 74,000 dong for a beer. You pay 12,000 at Mi Casa for the same. Food is great, the rice pancake filled with prawns and salad is a must. They wrap it in rice paper so you don't get greasy hands. Talking to the girl is great. She has taught herself English and likes to learn something new each day. She is also good a teaching you Vietnamese.

“Fresh and great quality”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

Pleasant surprise, thank you Tripadvisor raters! Enjoyed their stuff squid, banh xeo, and papaya salad. Everything was delicious, great quality, and priced well. Agreat place to dine when in Hoi An. A bit away from Old Town, but if you're renting a motor bike, this is a great place to dine.

“Something different!”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

We stayed at the Boutique Hoi An. Leave the hotel turn left and opposite the Palm is Mi Casa. The menu explains what you will get and offers fresh well prepared dishes. As everyone has said the ladies are cheerful and helpfull with the word no not in their vocabulary. Good for lunch and dinner and you should try as many things as you can.

“super authentic Vietnamese food and lovely friendly people”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

What a great restaurant!!such friendly and genuine people made us so welcome and the food was superb at ridiculously low prices. Dont let the appearance or the fierce competition put you off-make a beeline for Mi Casa and expect to be warmly welcomed and looked after by Viet and Chong -and they even do your laundry for next to nothing Alan and Moira
