This little shop is unassuming and you can miss it if you don't know where to look. It is two doors down from Cargo Club and across the street from Morning Glory Cafe. The shop is busier during the day and not as much earlier on or in the later evening. There is beautiful silver jewellry and I purchased two sets of earrings (butterflies and helixes) but there are lotus flowers, lanterns and more in silver. There are intricate Christmas cards, silk scarves, quilts that are beautiful, dishware, aromatherapy lip balms, oils etc. I went back and spoke with some of the craftspersons. I think Reaching Out needs multiple locations and if they could start a Coop and brand themselves in other towns such as Hanoi, Nha Trang, Hue and HCMC then travellers would know the brand and save their time, energy and money for fair trade items. I hope to purchase more from this shop from Canada. Please don't miss this. There is a lot of cheap, mass produced junk being pandered throughout Vietnam. This is true handicraft art.
