Owner description: Reaching Out is a social enterprise, training and employing persons with disabilities. Our artisans create beautiful gifts of high quality from tea ware patterned after that used by the Imperial family in Hue to elegant table ware and bedspreads of colourful silks. Our silver jewellery is designed in-house by our staff and made right on the premises. Customers are invited to visit the workshop which is right behind the retail store to watch how their purchases have been made. Our staff are willing to answer your questions and of course can tell you the details of the processes by which your gifts are crafted. They will also proudly show you to our Tea House, where you can experience a cup of coffee or tea, served in the traditional Vietnamese manner by our speech and hearing impaired staff.

This is a Fair Trade handicraft workshop run by people with various disabilities. It is conveniently sited in the Old Town, in a house of architectural interest.
I was particularly impressed by the silversmithing and ceramics, which were both of a high standard. The workshop also has a gift shop - and the prices, in my opinion, were very reasonable. I would recommend this place for a visit to anyone interested in handicrafts.

Well made craft and home accessories. Nice things to buy for family and friends. The staff are not pushy and allow you to browse at your own pace. Monies go to a very worth cause.

Lovely service. We bought a beautiful tea set from here, our only purchase so far during our trip. It has been wrapped really well for travel but they can organise to ship items home for you. Totally unexpectedly one of the staff bought my 2 y.o a lovely handmade soft toy horse which he loves. There was no pressure to purchase and the money is used for a worthwhile cause.
