Very nice beach with plenty of seafood restaurants. the beach is clean en sunbeds are available as from 30.000VND/day. Free if you have lunch at the restaurant (not all of them).

Worth going to for a day, water clean enough, sand clean enough, but nothing really special. Nice views. Lots of food places along which are mostly pretty average compared to the food in Hoi an.

Worth a pushbike ride out from Hoi an if you are staying there.

Cua Dai is a beach that could rival any in the world. It's wide, sand is quite fine and there is some surf. It's also one of those endless stretches for enjoying long walks - all the way from Hoi An to Danang if you're so inclined. There is quite a gutter in the surf immediately off the beach, so it can be subject to rips and all the things you would strike on Australia's beaches. I only visited the Hoi An end of the beach. There was quite a bit of litter around the main entrance to the public beach and the local authorities could think about investing in a small tractor and rake to scoop it up every few days. But walk north a few hundred metres and the problem becomes immaterial - similar to what you'd find on any beach. I visited in the low season, so small groups of people were scattered quite widely. However, for when the beach is crowded, there are literally hundreds of lounges and umbrellas to take advantage of. I really liked Cua Dai. Any machinery company thinking of building relations in the area should consider donating that small tractor and sand rake to the local government!

The sun was out, the water was warm, the sand felt like fire and we really enjoyed the experience. Although we can see the beach from our house we still like to experience other beaches when we travel. We rode our bikes out to the beach, hired a lounge and spent most of the time in the water. The outside temperature was 37 degrees and the water was really warm. The beach was clean and the locals were friendly.
