As a digital nomad this is one of those dream locations.

I would be at Banyan at least 1-2 times per week, Get there at 8am and hang out until the sun goes down.

The coffees are the best I've had in that area, the food is fantastic, the staff is super friendly and Gael is a great host. There is great energy at Banyan

The internet is also really good so it was a great place to hang out and spend the day working and swimming on the beach.

Within 10 mins you feel at home and a part of the family and thats exactly what I look for when I go to a beach spot. to feel at home.

Also Banyan is the only spot at An Bang where the staff actually go to your hut on the beach and bring you a coconut or food, everywhere else you have to walk up to the bar to order... Huge +

Some recommendations:
- Get a coffee with milk, its a big one so get excited!
- Check the special of the day, they usually have a fish dish that will be one of the best you've had
- When the sun starts to go down grab a caramel shot, trust me, even if you're not into shots, this one will be worth it, its a delicatessen.
- also get a mint shot... ummm missing them already,

I love Banyan awesome spot, a second home if you go to hoi an , hit it up, you'll be happy you did!

We were in a bar next to Le Banyan and heard the amazing singer/guitarist singing what sounded like american style country music. It drew us in! The French bar owner was there and very sociable with the crowd. There was about 15 people, mostly westerners (French, Aussies, American, Sth African). being so late at night and being that there was only a few of us there, rounds of complimentary shots flowed. The lives music, set up, bar and pool table make for a very interactive atmosphere. They make a wicked espresso Martini! Great mix of cocktails - and they were proper cocktails... We enjoyed it so much we went there the next day for lunch - siimple food done perfectly. right on the beach with a fantastic view!

A very charming venue on the beach side, with scenic view, great food and warm and welcoming atmosphere. we just couldn't leave the place and felt so good there, especially thanks to most friendly and generous welcome ever!
perfect place to indulge a romantic diner on the beach as well and sharing drinks with friends!

The most beautiful spot on the beach, the food is amazing the staff are all so nice they can't do enough to help you and the owner Gail (cong) is such a nice guy. Make sure you sample the flavoured Vodka (homemade) and his own style cocktails, superb!! A must for anyone travelling to Hoi An!!

The first time we came here, we really liked it. Staff were smiley, service good, the food was ok. In addition to this, the owner was lovely offering us his paddle board and letting us know where to hire a surf board from. The second time we went though we were pretty much ignored (there was an event on), the staff looked absolutely miserable, it took an age to order and once we'd managed to get a menu, the hot drinks we ordered came iced (iced milk tea is weird). I'm normally up for getting random orders when travelling but it was a little nippy and the cold tea was sooo weird, so queried if I could get a hot one. We were told it wasn't what we'd ordered and that due to the climate all teas and coffees are served iced. All the teas in Vietnam in all regions have been served hot (or with an option) including in Hoi An, so I 'm not entirely convinced by this argument. The owner did however kindly bring a hot tea which was seriously appreciated. I suggest that your experience will depend on the day, though for awesome Vietnamese food try elsewhere such as No.2 (Suong) on the same stretch. Otherwise chance your arm?
