“Great spot to chill”

A laid back atmosphere and a friendly host, make this a good place to drink and eat.

The set up is similar to Soul kitchen next door but here the service is quicker.

“An Bang Beach Drinks at Banyan, Seafood at Tuyet, awesome and inexpensive.”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

Started with Local Beers and BBQ Scallops at Banyan Bar and 2 minutes walk to Tuyet for more beers and just the yummiest seafood lunch as the thunder storm started rolling in. Fresh sea breeze blows away the humidity. A really pleasant way to spend a lazy afternoon.

“Spot on”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

The guys at the Banyan get the balance just right. While most other nearby restaurants merely have a bunch of tables in rows the Banyan mixes it up with day beds, loungers a bar, pool table and formal table seating. The tastefully chosen mix of early blues and jazz complements the relaxed beach vibe. The small dishes on the menu are conducive to settling back and ordering a few things over the course of an afternoon. We had Tuna carpaccio, Scallops, grilled calomari and crispy garlic potatoes.

“Beautiful beach location, nice French influence”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

We went to Le Banyan and enjoyed a lovely selection of tapas- style food, chorizo, tempura veges, squid and scallops. The owners are French and this influence is very positive without overpowering great local produce. We like it so much that we went back again. The restaurant is right on An Bang beach and is very relaxed and family friendly. A really lovely spot for an evening meal near the beach or perhaps a lazy afternoon for lunch and a few beers.
