I did a cooking class with Son on reccomendation from my Intrepid leader. I wasn't disappointed witht the quality of the food, cleanliness of the kitchen facilities or the professionalism of the chef. It was a great morning, a quick trip to the local market, some preparation, cooking and then enjoying a cold beer a delicious food that we had cooked. Good value for money, $25 USD. My only disappointment was being told the recipies would be emailed, and 3 weeks later having to follow up their whereabouts. The restaurant though was easy to contact to make this request and am currently awaiting the recipies.
We came back a few days later after the cooking class for a group dinner, and were not disappointed. It's obvious the chef has 5 star training, there were no disappointments with the food (there were 17 of us in the group and all were very happy with their meals). Great value for money, delicious drinks also and wonderful service. We had the VIP balcony upstairs which had a great outlook across the river and lanterns. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our last night in wonderful Hoi An.
