Had a wonderful, instructive, educational lesson. Chose three dishes and prepared them, ate them, wonderful experience. "Happy Han" is an inspiration, funny, patient and very knowledgable. Learned how to do stuffed squid (delicious)' pho, and pork in clay pot, all worth doing at home with recipes provided. Even found some earthen clay pots in Saigon to practice on the family at home. A wonderful experience well worth having a go.
Ps, We didn't do the market visit, knew most of the ingredients and felt it may have been a waste of time.

I loved this cooking class. I did three classes whilst in Vietnam and this was my favourite. Han our guide and chef was very energetic and so much fun. She showed us vegetables and fruits growing in gardens on our way to the market and explained how they were used in Vietnamese cooking and gave us a wonderful tour of the market pointing out quite a number of unusual foods - including grubs that go pop when you eat them! The class was wonderful. It was lovely to see all the interactions between her and the rest of the team.

We loved this cooking class. We were picked up in a taxi and taken to the local market by Ho. He gave us a tour and explained many different types of produce to us. Then we were dropped of to the cooking school with Miss Hahn. What a barrel of laughs she is! Singing and laughing the whole way through. I choose a menu including fried spring rolls, country pancake, fish in banana leaf and grilled pork. They were all delicious and our group of 4 had a lot of fun! I would highly recommend this class!

Had a great time at the Gioan Cooking class. Brother and sister team were great teachers and a lot of fun! We got lucky and had just two of us in the class; first off we went to the market and got to learn about all the different Vietnamese herbs and ingredients. Back in the restaurant we made pho, fried spring rolls, green papaya salad and fish cooked in banana leaf. Everything was delicious and we left with a recipe book full of more dishes to try. Everything we made today we will definitely be making at home.

Our teacher Han was just great. She taught us how to make all of the delicious items we had been eating while in Vietnam such as rice paper rolls, lemongrass and chili chicken, Vietnamese pancake and beef pho. The course was easily, personally tailored because one of our friends didn't eat seafood, and we all got interactive hands on experience preparing the food. The ingredients were explained to us, and Han checked with us all that we knew where we could get them in our country. The price also included a cook book to take home and recreate the dishes. Finally, our host Han was absolutely lovely and has a great sense on humour. We were all very impressed with her business and couldn't have asked for a better cooking class. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!
