This is our third visit to Hội An and the the Khải has become a firm favourite for seafood whether it be super fresh ingredients simply but skilfully cooked or something a bit more special like lobster from Chàm Island. We have eaten under the umbrellas on the beach, on the lawn and in the pavilion, all of these offer great ambience. The pavilion is popular with locals who seems to regard the Khải it as a location for special occasions. Our everyday favourites are garlic prawns (with simple salt, pepper and lime juice dipping sauce), crispy squid and french fries. Last year we lashed out with the lobster (at market prices) simply steamed, served with butter and the ubiquitous salt and pepper mix. The freshest ingredients allowed to speak for themselves. The restaurant is open till about 9pm and should be great fun for dinner as well.
