“Very relaxing beach resort to view Hoi An”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2014

We stayed 5 nights in the main hotel, with a very spacious room and balcony and lovely view. The grounds are beautiful with a magnificent swimming pool, bed chairs and bar offering cocktails etc at very reasonable prices. The beach is well managed with lifeguards and bed chairs. We took advantage of the free shuttle bus to / from town and there are local shops selling water / laundry on the doorstep. The breakfasts are superb, with lots of choice and very good service. This hotel gave us the necessary relaxation we needed half way through our 3 week trip; after lots of travelling and early starts, it was lovely to have the peace of the Boutique Hoi An before starting off again.

Room Tip: We were very happy with the size, view and quality of our room in the main hotel. I am sure the more...

We stayed for 4 nights in the main hotel. The rooms were spacious & well equipped, including robes, toiletries, fruit and a mini bar. The pool and hotel grounds were beautiful and the beach stunning. Such a nice change to have plenty of available sun beds by the pool and on the beach. There was a fantastic choice on the breakfast buffet and it was great to have the shuttle bus into Hoi An to shop and eat in the evenings (taxis were cheap too).
This was a fantastic place to relax after the hustle and bustle of Hanoi and Hue. Would recommend Moon and Streets restaurants in Hoi An.

Room Tip: I think we stayed in the cheapest doubles and they were very comfortable with a big balcony overlook...

My wife and I stayed for 12 glorious nights in a Deluxe room during March. We had the best service ever, from all of their smiling, friendly and everhelpful staff. From the restaurant, arranging a trip, borrowing bikes,re-confirmimg our flights and granting us a late checkout. The daily free shuttle bus service was a great bonus. The location is perfect for beach lovers as it has no neighbours you just share it with a few local fishermen allowing you to walk miles in either direction. The grounds and pool are immaculate with excellent poolside service for food and drinks.A really excellent hotel, extremely well managed and a credit to all who work there. We would highly recommend the Boutique Hoi An Resort to anybody visiting this area.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms for the best views.

This hotel is ideal for visiting Hoi An, set on the beech yet only a short distance from the town. Across the road are 3 restaurants, the one on the left, Co Hong is by far the best, serving a variety of home cooked food. We actually preferred it to the hotel restaurant.

We stayed 5 nights at the end of March and LOVED it. We booked a Deluxe room (block of 4 rooms separate to the main hotel building) and were upgraded to a Superior Deluxe which was ground floor with garden access and next to the pool. Room was ample size, good toiletries, great air con and beds were reasonably comfortable by Vietnamese standards (usually they are rock hard!). Hotel is superb - clean, quiet, small enough to feel intimate. Staff were friendly & efficient (my partner cut his toe and they provided us with a full first aid kid to get him cleaned up). Breakfast was great with a lot of choice from cereal, fruit, soup, eggs, bacon, etc and plenty of bread. Food & drinks at the hotel are cheap if coming from overseas but are pricey in comparison to local places across the road or in Hoi An town.
Get your beers at the little shop at the entrance - 1/5 of the price at 15000VND (around 75c US) - he also sells bottles of Bombay Sapphire for $18USD! We ate at all 3 restaurants across the road - not amazing food but good for lunch or a quick snack if you're staying at the resort during the day. We tried one seafood place at Cua Dai beach and it wasn't anything special - better food in the old town.
Massage places across the road are again a LOT cheaper than the resort although were not the best we had in Vietnam.
Try and nab one of the day-beds (there are 4) down near the beach as these provide better shade than the loungers. Plenty of loungers at the pool and on the beach though. Pool was exceptionally clean and best of all there were only a few kids at the resort so you could get a nice pleasant swim during the day. The beach is nice to walk on but at most points the water is too choppy to swim and the lifeguards advised against it due to currents.
I'd say this resort is more for couples/honeymooners than families and it's not a "party" type of resort - most people seemed to be in bed by 11pm as it was so quiet around the hotel. Head into the old town (free shuttle bus there and back is great otherwise around $5 in a taxi) but again, night life there ends around 11pm.
I'd definitely recommend this little gem as in comparison to the prices for similar resorts nearby, you get as much luxury for a lot less.

Room Tip: Superior Deluxe room has garden access to the pool - room 522 is right next to the pool and has the...

The hotel was good and the staff were pleasant enough. The beds were very hard though, and not what you'd expect from a 5*. Nice to have a shuttle bus back and forth from town. All in all not bad hotel but a bit out of the way.

Room Tip: Get a delux room or better!!

The hotel's location with lovely gardens with fragrant shrubs and beautiful butterflies and dragonflies makes it very special. It is also right on the amazing beach which is very peaceful. The staff were excellent and very friendly and the food and drinks were all good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent, varied and plentiful. Our only criticism is that the towels in our room were very thin and scratchy and need replacing.

The resort is set on the renowned ‘Cua Dai Beach’ Hoi An. With its central location, the resort is only 35 minutes from Da Nang airport and 5 minutes to explore the old heritage town of Hoi An. The ancient town of Hoi An, 30 km south of Da Nang, lies on the banks of the Thu Bon River. Occupied by early western traders, Hoi An was one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century.Hoi An has a distinct Vietnamese atmosphere with low, tile-roofed houses and narrow streets; the original structure of some of these streets still remains almost intact. All the houses were made of wood, decorated with lacquered boards and panels engraved with old ancient characters. Pillars were also carved with ornamental designs. Hoi An have earned the town status as a heritage site by the UNESCO and has become a very popular tourist destination in Vietnam. All rooms are facing the sea with private balconies and some have direct access to the beach from private terraces. Room facilities featured single and double vanity, bathtub or shower, air-conditioning, television, IDD telephone, mini bar, safety box, hairdryer, wireless internet, coffee and tea making facilities.
