This little guesthouse was such a nice place to stay whilst we are in Hoi An.
The gardens and pool are so beautiful!

We arrived late at night - had a complimentary airport pick up which was great and so no-fuss! We stayed in the "standard room" for the 1st night as none of the 5 "luxury rooms" were available. I wish we hadn't as it wasn't very nice and it tainted our experience of the stay a little. When we moved to our "luxury room" things got much better. The room was large, clean and had plenty of character. The bed was large and comfy, the shower and toilet were clean, the back courtyard was very pretty with bath and outdoor shower... although we didn't use either.

By far the best part of this place is the surrounding gardens and pool. The pool was so warm that when we were really hot it was almost not cold enough!!

The other thing we loved was the free bikes which we rode into town and to the beach on multiple times.

The family who run the place are quiet, nice and helpful without being overbearing. They informed us they had an aunty who had a tailor shop in town but didn't push it! They also cooked and served us breakfast (eggs and bacon) in the structure outside in the gardens each day. There was also a laptop available in this area with free internet.

The location was quite good as it was halfway between the beach and the town. It was only about 2km to each and though it was hot it was a pretty easy bike ride to both.

We are so pleased we picked this place for our stay in Hoi An. It is a family run business and we received such personal service for our 8 night stay here. The family is so friendly (but not over friendly) and made an effort to call us by our names. Our baby also loved it here. The girls all looked after her. For example, they went out and bought a baby bike seat as another child was using the only one they had.

The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool is very clean and refreshing. The rooms are lovely and the outdoor bath and shower is like no other placed I have stayed.

We ate dinner her one night and the meal was very good. Prices for food and drinks here are very reasonable. Breakfast is made to order: western and vietnamese choices available.

This place is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel so there are certain things like no tea and coffee in the room, and if you need hair dryer/extra towels/soap etc then you need to ask for it. Nothing is too much trouble here but if there is something you would like then you must ask the people for it. All the staff are very approachable.

One mistake many people made is coming for just 1 night! Everyone we met over the 8 nights wished they had booked for longer. This place is a great little find & if you want peace and quiet this is the place for you.

It is a bike ride or $2 taxi in to town and the closest restaurant is a 10 minute walk to Cua Dai Beach Rd. We did not have a problem with the distance. We loved walking through the local streets and our baby loved all the farm animals in the local properties.

Book this place well in advance as they are getting very booked out as the secret is out & they only have 5 rooms!
We will definitely be back. Thank you Wynne, Lee, Lee & Bon.

The Villa Hoa Sua is a lovely hotel in a lovely town.

Of the three hotels we stayed at in Hoi An--the Life Heritage Resort, the Ha An hotel, and the Villa Hoa Sua, the Villa Hoa Sua was by far our favorite. If we are ever in Vietnam again, we will make sure to head back to Hoi An and stay at the Villa Hoa Sua. This hotel is perfect for those who prefer quiet and beautiful surroundings.

This hotel stood out for its tasteful rooms with outdoor showers, top-notch personalized service, and beautiful grounds, which feature a traditional wood pavilion surrounded by a moat. We also liked its tucked away location, which is a short 3 km bike ride away from downtown Hoi An.

The rooms feature real queen beds, which are apparently a rarity in Vietnam as a lot of the other hotels we stayed at featured two beds pushed together. This was the case at the Ha An hotel, also in Hoi An. The backyard of the hotel features an outdoor shower and bathtub, in addition to a glass-enclosed shower inside. We enjoyed taking our showers outside, surrounded by greenery. We never used the bathtub, but suspect that there would not be enough hot water to fill it up. It would be nice to use for a private sunbath in the summer.

One of the best parts of the hotel is the excellent service provided by "Bond," the brother of the owner. He speaks good English, and his laid back and friendly attitude seemed like he has had a prior career as a concierge in 5-star hotel. He picked us up from our other hotel in Hoi An at no charge. When we left Hoi An, he arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the hotel and take us to the airport at below the marker price for foreigners. His sister also has a tailoring shop, Bong Duong, but he didn't push us to have clothes made there. It was only when we asked about the owner that he gave us their business card. We ended up visiting the shop in our own right and very happy with the clothes we had made and the friendliness of the employees. Bond also suggested a good neighborhood restaurant close to the hotel when we wanted a quick and tasty bite to eat close by.

We took our breakfasts in the open pavilion surrounded by a moat with goldfish. The hotel grounds mainly consist of the pavilion, moat, and pool, and evoke memories of Balinese hotels that I have stayed at.

The hotel is a bit out of the way from Hoi An's downtown, but we enjoyed our bike rides into the city. We were gorging ourselves at Hoi An's restaurants anyway so appreciated and look forward to the exercise. In addition, the hotel provides bikes that were nicer than the ones used at other hotels in Hoi An. The bikes have lights, so we were able to bike with ease at night when we would head into town for dinner.

Overall, we had a truly lovely experience. My recommendation is that visiters to Hoi An book a room here as soon as they know their dates. There are only five rooms and they fill up fast.

We stayed in this gorgeous little resort for two nights and found it such a peaceful escape from the urgency of Hanoi. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Bon who welcomed us and made us feel comfortable on our stay. Frangipani is in a great spot about 2km from town and the beach, and even for us over 50's not too far to experience the interesting pushbike ride. The staff were only too happy to call taxis to take us to town at night and the resort provided us with a map to show drivers where to go on the home journey as the villas are a little hard to find. The ambience of this lovely resort was really special. Our room was immaculate and interesting in design, and it was so quiet. Nice breakfast included and ready when you wake up at your leisure.
