...Probably not for long though, due to the rave reviews here! Curse of success. This is a really cool unique street food experience with course after course of delicious food, we dont even eat meat, only fish/seafood and they really sorted us out with an absolute banquet for about 3 quid each. Our waitress explained each course to us in great English and showed us how to make each roll and how best to eat things - she showed us in so much detail she may as well have fed us herself. She didnt - that would have been weird.

Down a random alley near the centre of town, keep going cos it is totally worth it.
Lunch wise this was actually the best in terms of variety and 'make-your-own' experience we've had as fish eaters in Vietnam. Go quick before they get touristy!

Ground hog day going by previous comments but this place is a must. Just off the main street where there is a sign directing you where to go, that borders the old town, no menu, just quality and quantity delivered within minutes and great value. Waitress happy to show you how to roll and away you go. Had lunch here and wasn't busy looking for dinner we were so full. Tables and chairs sit outside on a very quiet and clean side street, mix of tourists, small tour group (G Adv) and young local people. Even though this place gets a good wrap in Lonely Planet, it wasn't busy and certainly wasn't crowded. Loved it and would certainly return and definitely recommend.

We've been twice so far and are going back again. The food is lovely and as much as you can eat. The staff are fantastic, helpful and friendly. Definitely make sure you visit here!

Bale Well has an interesting concept; you sit down and the staff just bring out a set 'menu' of food, give you a quick run through of how to roll it all up and then off you go. Even though I'm not a huge fan of prawns, the food really is very good and incredibly great value. You can stuff yourself full of good food and beer for very little.

I usually don't go to proper restaurants for Vietnamese food because it's cheaper and just as good on the street. This place is my exception. It's great, you just sit down and they bring out plates and plates of food as well as show you how to make/roll your food with the rice paper. It's great fun and well worth it.
