Good Hostel, u get what u pay for
We stayed 3 nights, big and clean room, ensuite bathroom, window (no view though), friendly staff, wifi in the room, good laundry quality :-)

Nothing special, but good for some budget nights

The hotel is well located. Near the old city. Unfortunally there was no breakfast but in the front of the hotel there is a nice restaurant and they serve cornflakes with fruits. Very good. The only bad thong was that there were a lot of hairs in the bathroom. It looks like someone shape itsself and let all the hairs especially above the washing area. But the hotel is very truthfull we let our valuable stuff in the room.

We spent 4 nights here and had a lovely time. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a spacious bathroom and balcony. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and offer good advice. On our last day there was flooding in hoi an and we had to leave as the hotel was flooded. The staff were really helpful in finding us transport and a hotel to move to. Great hotel especially considering the price. I will definitely stay here again when i am back in Hoi An.

Room Tip: Front rooms have balcony and are good size.

The hotel is in a good location and is only a short walk to the old town. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful with information about train and flights. The room was clean and the price was really good value. There is no breakfast available but there a lots of places up the street - we had a cheap breakfast at another hotel just a few meters away. My only complaint was that I got woken up by a rooster. My room was on the top floor and it sounded like the rooster was maybe on the roof. If I stay here next time, I will catch the rooster and cook it for dinner! Then I will sleep very well.

The location of the hotel is great, not too far up Hai Ba Trung street from the old town. Plenty of restaurants/tailors around the place within minutes of walking.

We had a front balcony room, which the room itself was quiet nice, but the AC didn't do a very good job keeping the room cool (doesn't help that they turn it off every time you leave the room) and there was a lot of road noise, although we wanted the front room with a balcony so can only blame ourselves for that!

Staff there are very friendly, for the price i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Get a room at the back of the hotel to avoid road noise, although it was nice having the balcony out...

We had a walk around town to find a reasonable place to stay. We decided on this place because it was $6/person a night (I am not sure if we were there at a high season, Aug, for travellers).

Location was good but room's very basic. Like the other reviews, there were ants in our room and stains on the wall. We were in the ground floor room and loud music can be heard from the upstairs rooms. We kept waking up later than expected due to little sunlight from the window.

Our main grouse is from the 2 reception staffs. They were less friendly to us than to the other non-Asian guests around. When using the communal computer, the receptionist didn't bother to greet us nor was helpful enough to turn on the fan. This attitude changed when other guests, of different ethnicity, walk into the reception area.

At check-out, we paid with US dollar bills. The receptionist was very rude to scratch the bill to check its' authenticity in our view. I understand that there are many fake bills but to do it in front of us really puts me off. Is our US dollar less valuable than the others?

We will not be coming back anytime soon.

Room Tip: Do not get room facing the back. Echo from upstairs balcony will disturb sleep.

Good location, okay price - slightly more than some other places around... but very friendly staff - the only thing I would say is that our room was a little small and pokey!

Wouldn't stay here again as I think there are better offers around - in terms of price and size of rooms/breakfast etc. But it did have communal computers which were useful - and we were able to book onward travel here also.
