Owner description: See the real Vietnam with Hoi An Motorbike Adventures! Get off the beaten tourist track and experience the real Vietnam first hand. Our motorcycle and Jeep tours enable you to leave the tourist trail behind and see parts of Vietnam that few other travellers get to see. Riding a motorbike or travelling in a Jeep brings you closer to the real Vietnam. The motorbike is the number-one form of transport in Vietnam, and as you high-five local children as you ride through their villages, you'll be happy you decided not to travel by car. Stop where you want, when you want. You don't have to be a motocross champion either. Our tours can be tailored to every level of experience, from non-riders who can ride as pillion passengers to off-road riders who are looking for a real challenge. Motorcycle tours are flexible by nature - you can take one road or another, depending on what the group wants to ride. Our rides run from half a day to a week, and the possibilities are endless.

This 2 day tour was simply brilliant despite the fact that a typhoon had ripped through the countryside only a day before and caused quite widespread damage to homes and infrastructure . How Leanne and Mark put this together for us despite having to deal with no power, very limited communications and the aftermath of a destructive typhoon speaks volumes for their professionalism.

The riding was enjoyable, the scenery was breathtaking and our guide Peter was very knowledgeable, good humoured and great company despite us all being soaking wet for 2 straight days. We started in Hue and travelled back to Hoi An. The visit and overnight stay in Bho Hoong was great, very informative and an absolute highlight. The villagers were very friendly, accommodation was first class and the food sensational. So was the coffee at Mr Pai's coffee shop.

This is the second tour I have done with HAMA and have been very impressed both times. Very highly recommended.

If you have a spare day, like motorbikes or sitting on the back of one then this is a must do in Hoi An. The guys that run this place and very friendly, professional and know this place back to front. Craig took myself and my wife for a day trip to the base of the mountains and the delta. If you want to see something other than the sights and shops in the main town and get out to see how and where the locals live and work then this is the way to go. The pace was good and Craig was great, letting us stop along the way for photo opportunities. We didn't even need our mechanic, the old Minsk didn't miss a beat but it was good to have him on hand bringing up the rear and always ensuring the wife didn't get into strife! Thanks Craig and Mark for the hospitality and the icy cold beer at the end of the day.The most fun you'll have sitting down and already thinking about a return visit for a longer tour.

We did the half day tour around the Hoi An countryside and really enjoyed seeing another side of this region, away from the touristy parts. Loved cruising through the villages, past rice paddies with water buffalos, and over the floating bridge. Very picturesque. We, including my 11 year old son, opted to sit behind a driver, and all the drivers were excellent. Didn't have to cling tight but could sit comfortably and watch the scenery go by. Tony, the trip leader, made sure we stopped often to stretch the legs and get photos. We highly recommend this trip.

We had such a fantastic time and the experience lived up to all the hype. We did the higher than Hi Van pass full day tour, which started a 8am and went through to 5pm. Matt (our guide) Mr Duc and Mr Van (mechanics) were so friendly, helpful and just plain AWESOME!
We only had a short time in Hoi An due to the typhoon, but this tour allowed us to see so much more than we would have otherwise. We were able to get off the main tourist routes and see the real people of Hoi An and how they live. There were no hidden expenses, everything is covered. Lunch (which was so yummy) is served in a picturesque location and there are many other photo opportunities along the way.

Worth every cent and then some!

Having seen the Top Gear Vietnam Special Show again and again I was yearning for the Hai Van Pass and Beyond tour. Despite having limited experience in driving a semi-automatic motorcycle I felt quickly at ease with "The Minsk" after a short instruction. The tour mainly followed small streets with little traffic and the Hai Van Pass itself is truly deserted. During the ride we were carefully looked after by the guide Pete, a mechanic and a third biker of the team. When we came to major crossings we were guided safely by them. Taking pictures was always possible as the guides waited for us. We had stops for historical briefings or refreshments every 30 minutes. Wear a long-sleeved shirt and long trousers for sun protection!
