We couldn’t believe our luck with this hotel, the pool area and the rooms are beautiful, with one of the nicest hotel bathrooms I’ve ever seen! All this for the grand total of £26 a night, you can’t get much better than that!
The hotel was set out of the way between Hoi An and the beach, a lovely setting, and some respite from the busy streets of Hanoi where we had just been! It is set on a road but we heard no traffic noise at all, we actually found the location very peaceful. Taxis into Hoi An cost pennies and the drive took 5-10 minutes.
The room was lovely, and the bed extremely comfortable, one of the best nights sleep I had in Vietnam. Two issues in the room, one was that the tv didn’t work - I know you don’t go on holiday to watch tv but just fancied some background noise one evening! Also we were informed on arrival our safe was broken. Luckily as a group of 4 we had a working safe in the other room, but this wouldn’t have been ideal had we been travelling on our own.
Breakfast was very nice, you chose off a menu and it was freshly made. The morning staff were also very friendly and welcoming.
You couldn’t really say the hotel had a bar.... just a fridge outside with some tables. The receptionist had to serve you if you wanted anything, and while we were there we found the member of staff on the evening shift the least friendly of everyone, almost didn’t seem bothered. Not sure the set up of receptionist/Barman was ideal, and unfortunately with the hotel being very quiet while we were there this made us feel a little out of place, which was a shame, as it was a lovely setting for some evening drinks.
All in all though a really lovely stay, great value for money, excellent location, beautiful and comfortable rooms and the majority of staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a room on the ground floor overlooking the pool which is really quiet. The room was beautiful with lovely tiles and really comfortable bed. The bathroom was of the quality of 4 and 5 star hotels with top quality shower and beautiful stone bath. The slate pool was lovely and the planting and lanterns at night very beautiful. The owners only speak Russian and rely on younger relatives to manage the front desk. Due to the growing proliferation of hotels in Hoi An the family are unable to retain staff as more expensive hotels such as La Siesta are able to pay higher wages(but are 5X the price) The breakfast is of a good standard with fresh fruit and eggs to order. The gym is a waste of space which contains an exercise bike and running machine in the open air. I have been coming to Vietnam and Hoi An for 12 years and the hotels I have stayed in the past are now far too expensive! This was my first time here and have already booked to return next year due to cost and high standard accommodation and pool area.

Room tip: Rooms overlooking the pool are quiet

This was a clean resort with well thought out facilities. I appreciate the double doors to keep out street noise. The staff are happy to help arrange anything you need. I was glad I picked this place and enjoyed using the free bikes the hotel provided. They booked me on an amazing cooking tour I would recommend. The Hoi An coconut tour.

We arrived relatively late and were given a room on the ground floor, on the road side. While the room itself is not noisy, it is certainly not a nice one, taking into account that the hotel was rather empty.
Furthermore the restaurant was not able to serve what they had on their menu card and this 15 minutes after we had ordered and the wine bottle had already been opened.
However the coffee in the morning is excellent and certainly one of the best I drank in Vietnam.

Lovely hotel set round a small pool. Rooms were large and comfortable, shower was excellent. The restaurant was deserted in the evening, but the food was good. You can walk along the river to the old town, it takes about half an hour. The hotel is next to a busy road so a bit noisy. The spa was deserted and musty, but the massage was good. There were real staff problems when we were there. Two exhausted young people seemed to be running the hotel. It was too much for them. Everything was slow and they made mistakes. Not their fault, they need support from management and to take proper rest and time off.

Room tip: Rooms overlooking the pool are quieter as they are further from the road.
