Best way to experience local food and culture

This was an exceptional experience. Our guide Sam was amazing, and well assisted by Tony. Sam was knowledgeable and fun. We toured the local market, tasted more than 20 local dishes, worked in the organic garden and learnt how to cook 5 dishes. The diversity of ingredients, textures and flavours was a wonderful surprise. The team at Tre Que are passionate about traditional, sustainable, organic farming and sharing genuine local culture, and they exceeded our expectations. Great value. Narelle and Helen, Australia

A wonderful experience into local life

We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the market for only the local people. It was just the two of us in our group and our guide ( who was also our chef) was so informative and passionate about Vietnamese food and culture.
Arriving in the farm areas local farmers waved whilst they tended their fields full of fresh herbs and vegetables.
Our cooking class was not only informative and hands on but fun. Lots of laughing whilst learning. We very much enjoyed our foot massage and then sat down to a delicious lunch that we had prepared. I would highly recommend this cooking school or just calling there for lunch. Thank you.

Exceptional experience

We were picked up from our hotel at 7:30 and taken to the markets of Hoi An where only the locals shop. It was just my partner and I so a very intimate experience. We then went to a diverse range of authentic breakfast places and triedabout 10-15 dishes. Do not have breakfast before the tour. There is a lot of food. Then afterward we were picked up and taken to The Garden Cooking Class where my partner and I learnt how to cook Vietnamese food. The experience finished at 12:30 when we were dropped off at our hotel.
Sam our tour guide and chef was brilliant.
This is a real must Hoi An experience

Excellent experience and lovely setting

Made so welcome, cookery lesson among the herbs and vegetable gardens and a lovely lunch (oh and an unexpected foot massage)

A Godsent place

I don’t know how to start writing about this place. There are so many good things that honestly, these experiences will go with us for our whole life after the trip.
It was a funny, great class to learn about local life at the country side. The class taught us not only about local food but also their story. Don’t miss this place if you have a chance to Hoian
