Did a cooking class with an Intrepid food tour of Vietnam. Very impressed with this organization. I loved being shown how noodles and rice paper are made. And the array of foods to try is great. The class was excellent... Got to make a number of things that will be easy enough to replicate at home. I highly recommend doing a class here!

“Morning Glory at The Market”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

For the final day of our stay in Hoi An, my boyfriend and I booked a class at the Morning Glory Cooking School. Perhaps it was the agent who booked for us, but we arrived at Morning Glory to find that the class was actually on the other side of the river at The Market restaurant. Both are owned by the same person. We may have missed the breakfast that other class members were talking about, or maybe it was not included in the package we received. Either way, the tour of the local market was very informative and the guide was patient and kept the pace moving which is not an easy achievement amongst the many market stalls! Once back the The Market, the facility was clean and allowed for a lot of interaction with preparation of food at the various stations on the ground floor. The instructor for our class demonstrated everything with a good sense of humor. The assistants who had most of the ingredients prepared ahead of time were efficient and ensured everyone was following along and cooking safely. The variety of the dishes prepared was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

“Outstanding value”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

I thought the master class was slightly pricy but went for it anyway. It was totally worth it! First, an all-you-can eat breakfast of unbelievable variety. The a guided tour of the market, followed by a tasting session at the street food restaurant before the hands-on cooking class where you learn to make four tasty dishes. I'll definitely be trying some of these at home.
