On arrival we were told the internet was not working and wouldn'tb be for the next few days. Otherwise, a reasonable hotel close to Registan and near lovely parks.

A standard four star hotel situated on a pleasant tree lined avenue about 3 minutes walk from Tamerlan’s tomb and 15 minutes walk from the Registan. Breakfast was the usual Uzbeki fayre. Rooms were spacious and clean, although there was no mattress protector under the sheets. Bathroom was fully functional with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Staff were friendly. We had an evening meal at the hotel and it was pretty good. Wi-fi is available for 3000 sum per hour but the hotel’s monthly subscription of gigabytes had been used up when I tried to buy a second hour.

Rooms are very nicely done and clean with modern bathrooms. Staff all spoke excellent English, were very helpful and breakfast was an Uzbek feast every day. The one single drawback was that they charge for Internet access (~3000 Som for 1 hour) whereas no other hotels do. Certainly my recommendation for anyone travelling to Samarkand.

I've been in many hotels in Samarkand and Uzbekistan at all - I'm absolutely sure that this one is the best.
1. It has a good location: near Amir Timur's Tomb so you can enjoy nice view round-the-clock plus there are some small shops with souvenires where you can chose what you want without a hurry. And it's only 10-15 minutes by foot from Registan.
2. Rooms a very-very clean and cozy. Bathroom is ideal.
3. No problems with hot water. In Uzbekistan that's an important point.
4. Stuff is friendly and helpfull.
5. Good breakfast
6. Wi-Fi
6. Good price
I reccomend this hotel to everyone who is going to visit Samarkand. You will really enjoy you stay.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is well located---right near the Gur-i Mir and a 10 minute walk from the Registan. Small, very clean hotel and has a wonderful terrace on the 3rd floor for tea, viewing, etc. Staff was very nice. I was quite sick for 2 days, and they found me a great doctor, and made special meals for me. A nice change from large, chain, hotels. Food was good. Hotel also very quiet.
