The meal was superb from start to finish. Martin, the funny waiter, is one of the most hilarious people I have ever met. Every five minutes he doffs a different hat (Chinese, Dutch girl, witch, Kermit the frog, you name it, he's got it) and rushes into the street shouting "Pasta della Mamma! Pasta della Mamma!" And the pasta is superb--the day I was there the choices for homemade pasta were gnocchi with brown butter and sage, tagliatelle, or ravioli. I had the tagliatelle with half spinach-and-cream sauce and half bolognese, both excellent. For dessert they have terrific flan, dulce de leche tart, apple pudding, and a lot of other things. Everything, wine, salad, pasta, dessert, and coffee was less than $25. In my opinion, this is THE place to eat in Colonia and I'll be going back.
