Having had to endure 10 days of the brutish unfriendliness and lack of professionalism of 5 star hotels in Argentina, we were enthralled with the smiling professionalism of the staff at this resort.
The bungalow we had was very well maintained, spacious and very quiet. Excellent and discreet service. The privacy and decor was reminiscent of some places we've experienced in exotic and far-off hideaway islands. The only problem we experienced was with mosquitoes - the week before our arrival was particularly wet and the pests came out in full force wherever there was shade.
The spa felt like a cocoon of comfort and pampering, without overindulgence. Ask for Luis for the best massage ; he is as well trained a therapist as any we've had from Kathmandu to Evian.
My only qualm was that guests should have been advised to keep their voices down and be careful to not intrude upon the tranquility that others have come here to enjoy. It happens everywhere you go: some guests think they own the place and don't care that they disturb the peaceful/quiet enjoyment of the facilities of other guests. The spa, especially, should have the therapists advise the guests to be conscious of this. And, in general, throughout the resort, it would have been much appreciated if the staff knew how to manage guests that were inconsiderate of others and the surroundings.More
