Finca Narbona's origins as a winery go back to 1909. In recent years, and after having changed hands several times, it has set up a nicely appointed rustic restaurant. This serves lunches and dinners, as well as breakfasts, using a host of products from the Narbona farm and winery itself. Such is the case of the warm crusty croissants, jams and other breakfast ingredients, or of the crackers, olive oil and wines that accompany meals. By the way, these can be purchased at the restaurant premises, where a bottle of their foremost recent prizewinning wine will set you back US$45. The restaurant is part of a larger endeavour, with five roomy and well equipped suites offering accommodation for those interested in overnighting at a small place in Carmelo while taking advantage of its arrangements with the nearby -4 miles away- Four Seasons hotel whereby Narbona patrons can take advantage of the latter's spa. The two largest of the Narbona suites are decorated with quasi antique farm furniture, whicle the three others have contemporary white lacquered wooden furniture.
