First of all let me say that I am very picky when it comes to hotels, but the RB Sharjah exceeded all my expectations. From day 1 I was impressed with the hotel. All rooms have a sea view, and my business room was a great spec for the price - massive bedroom with 2 double beds, separate dressing area, enough wardrobes to suit a large family and of course bathroom with bath and shower. Fresh fruit on arrival, nespresso machine, ac, mini bar etc etc and all very clean. The hotel is located right on its own private beach, and plenty of pools to choose from. The hotel itself has just undergone a massive refurb, and was super clean and modern. It's the staff that really make a difference here - by day 2 they all knew my name and always keen to help with a smile! The food here is absolutely fantastic - if you're from the UK forget everything you associate with the word buffet - this is a class of its own! Masses of choice every mealtime and even a special section for the kids too. I will definitely be staying here again - a very, very pleasant stay. I thoroughly would recommend this to business travellers and families alike.

Room Tip: All rooms have sea view so no worries here.

Most enjoyable stay. Very friendly staff. Although very quiet the food in the Chinese restaurant in the hotel was very good. Will definitely stay here again!
Complimentary shuttle bus service to Dubai and back twice a day should you need it, which you won't after you've seen Sharjah.

Room Tip: Beach cabanas are an excellent choice for families looking for a resort holiday!

Had a most enjoyable stay at this Radisson property. I enjoy gold status in the Club Carlson loyalty programme and from the very first minute until check-out I was recognised as such, which is not always the case. Mr. Anar made our check-in in the middle of the night a pure delight and Mr. Kamal did his utmost to make our stay hassle-free.

The Calypso restaurant by the pool served excellent food which we tried on several occasions. The private beach was clean and there was plenty of sunbeds although the hotel can get busy at times. The breakfast area was also busy but staff was very efficient and the food on offer was very good.

The spa too was very good and my wife did several treatments.

I would definitely return if I ever go back to Sharjah.

Room Tip: Some rooms have just been renovated so ask for one of these.

This hotel is heavily favored by Russians and you'll see that everywhere, even behind the counter at checkin. It's highest quality, great room service, great buffet breakfast (not included, pay extra, why at these rates is it not included?), Wifi everywhere, beach and pool and spa lovely, small souvenir Souk, Chinese restaurant in the lobby, and snack bar in the lobby, all good. Nice waterfall feature in huge atrium lobby. Can book cars and daytrips with travel desks right in lobby. Can leave bags with concierge if you must check out before your flight time. The only down point on this hotel is that it is not located near anything a tourist would want to do except the beach. It is not close to the shopping malls or metro or the port. You must take taxis, which can be pricey in Dubai. The traffic back to Sharjah in the evening rush hours is very bad, which can get you caught in a taxi with the meter running up. As one cab driver told me, "Everyone works in Dubai, but lives in Sharjah because it's cheaper." Also, when you get out of the airport, make sure you tell your taxi driver it's Sharjah, as there are four other Radisson Blu resorts in Dubai.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel 6-16 November.
Put us in the room 1225.
Rooms are spacious, has everything you need.
The grounds are very clean and well maintained, beautiful beach, beach workers even crows chase, not to interfere with holiday makers.
Great staff, well trained and always ready to help with any questions.
Fine cuisine.
The hotel provides free shuttle service to Dubai and local shopping centers.
The only negative is that the window in the room did not open and to breathe clean air conditioning instead of a pleasant sea breeze.

Stayed here for 4 nights after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Previously stayed in the 5 star Grand Millenium Al Whada, Abu Dhabi.
Led to believe that this also was a 5 star, and certainly, we paid 5 star prices. On arrival, the lobby with waterfall cafe, was indeed, very impressive. Check in was quick enough and given information on facilities the hotel offered.
Going down the corridor, alarm bells started ringing! All the doors were old and tired looking. Our room itself was spacious, and had apparantly, been recently refurbished, but did look a bit dated. It was clean enough. We had a dressing area with storage. The bathroom itself, was small, with old fashioned green suite, with shower in the bath.
The room was very dark, and there was no balcony to sit in, which was a shame. Information given on only getting the first lot of coffee and bottled water complimentary, and everything else after that, had to be paid for!!
Breakfast next morning was disappointing, canned fruit, and not a lot to choose from. We had a pot of coffee placed on our table, which was only just warm. Definately not worth the money.
We found that the beach cafe served lovely toast with super coffee for a third of the price, so we had breakfast there for our remaing mornings.
You had to be down at the beach for as early as 8am to get a sun bed, as they were all "reserved with towels on", with most of the folk still having breakfast.
The swimming pool was kinda ok, quite small, and cramped.
You could get a complimentary bus to Dubai, but found you had to be in the queue about 45 mins before hand to get a place! Then when in Dubai, the taxi drivers were not keen to take you back to Sharjah, and equally with going from Sharjah to Dubai.
You could get a lovely coffee with home made cakes in the Chillout Cafe. All the staff there were lovely, polite and chatty, so welcoming.
However, I would not go back to this hotel again. We were looking forward to being spoiled at the end of our break, but it never happened.

Our standard rooms do not have balconies as the hotel was designed this way and this is a feature we cannot install in any way, we apologize for that.

Our breakfast buffet is of a high standard as all Radisson Blu hotels in Europe, we do apologize that you found it disappointing.

We stayed here on 5 Nov for 5 x nights. Having driven down from the 5* Grand Millenium Hotel in Abu Dhabi to the 5* Radisson Blu, we were a little disappointed. I suspect the bottom line is the the Abu Dhabi hotel was a business hotel whereas the Radisson was holiday/family based hence the reason we saw a difference in standards....although their Reception and breakfast area is very impressive, (we were told they are in a phase of renovating this hotel). First room offered had a bad smell of cigarette smoke and give the hotel 100% credit, they offered us another room, but due to high capacity the room we were given was less superior but did not have the 'smell'. Their rooms have a fantastic walk-in dressing area which leads into a bathroom - our 2nd room had a very small white MDF wardrobe with drawers that fell out, a hairdryer on the wall in the lobby and no mirror! How was one supposed to dry their hair!! None of their safes re fixed to anything... However we did not want to waste anymore time on moving so stayed put. It is very unfortunate that the rooms do not have balconies - although it looks like it could have been achieved. You receive complimentary coffee and tea - once - thereafter everything is 40p to replace! We tried breakfast on first morning, again on comparison to our first hotel, service was poor, no dishes cleared off tables, coffee pot already on table - coffee was lukewarm. Breakfast was lukewarm to cold. So instead of paying £13.50 each morning, we elected to have a lovely hot coffee and toast from the pool bar after 0900 hrs from one of the best members of staff we encountered at the hotel. If you are not down at the beach before 0800 hrs - forget about bagging a sunbed - all you see is loads of empty sunbeds with blue towels on!!! How annoying and the hotel doesn't seem to do anything about this. On the plus side, the hotel run several buses daily into Dubai and to Sharjah Mall - on a first come, first serve basis. They have a 24/7 coffee area within Reception where they service delicious cakes and fantastic, cheery and welcoming staff. One downside to staying at Sharjah was several taxi drivers in Dubai refused to take us back to Sharjah - too far for them to make it worth their while, same I believe for taxis from Sharjah taking you into Dubai - but this hotel offer a taxi service which we used and again, the drivers were nice and cheerful.

Room Tip: Ask for non-smoking

We have also acknowledged your feedback on assignment of the non-smoking room upon arrival; we would like to inform you that the non-smoking rooms can be requested at the time of reservation. We also have escalated the challenges you have faced during your stay with regards to the wall hair dryer with no mirror next to it, we would like to inform you that we have taken appropriate action and are rectifying this in our rooms. With regards to your comments on the balcony in the rooms, unfortunately it is not in our hands as this is the structure of the building. With regards to your comments on the breakfast, this is the first occasion we have received the negative feedback about our breakfast quality, as the breakfast we do serve at the restaurant is as per the standard of Radisson Blu hotels worldwide and we have always been appreciated by all our guest for the same and with regards to the clearance of the tables, this is a constant challenge since most of the tables the guests do leave behind some food and cannot be cleared as the guests have not asked for the removal, however we are looking into this and we should be able to put a process in place.
We also would like to focus on your comments for the sun beds, our bay club team members are always available at the beach front to assist the guests and can resolve any such challenge once informed. However your point is noted and we shall do our best to improve this service in the coming days.
