Calligraphy Museum, this elegant Arabic symbols attracted my attention for already long time. More than worth to be visited for those who would like to get to know and see more about origin and beauty of arabic language and the state-of-the-art techniques of writting process.
From the first step you'll enter the room which reminds home-library with its size, furniture and atmosphere)) You will be pleasantly surprised with the entrance fee - AED 5 only or even free of charge;)
In this room there's an opportunity to enjoy your time while browsing books of different genres written in Arabic (of course:) or for those non-arabic speakers just to feed your curiosity and watch the pictures..
Then the way leades to the second hall where there's a spectacular exhibition of gold...It would be too boring just to gaze on tht beauty, however they came up with a very creative idea comparing jewellery with the life of pearl-hunters..
And the last point of interest here is a hall with painting masterpieces. Each of them conveys the quotation from Holly Quran or words of Prayer.
I do suggest this place, plus once visiting it you get the opportunity to visit 4 more Museums located in the same Heritage Area :)
