Most reviews of the Hilton in Sharjah praises the staff and hotel and I'm no different.
Excellent location - be sure to get a lagoon-facing room on the higher floors. There's a Mosque conveniently located behind the hotel with a variety of shops in the area too.
Staff were courteous and helpful. Incidentally I bumped into the general manager in the lifts and he took his time to ask me about my stay. All staff were fully conversant in English - something I didn't observe in other hotels in Sharjah.
See my picture of the majestic lobby.
The Iftar buffet was a real treat! Well done to the catering staff.
One minor point. I don't agree with Hilton's pricing for internet access. Surely this should be factored into the room rate like most hotels across the Emirates. Access is free in the lobby areas but chargeable in rooms. 100AED per day or 500AED per week.
