We booked this Hotel but thinking pehaps we should have booked the Hilton spa resort.

I had major concerns that this hotel would be run down and old fashioned rooms.

Well our stay was very plesent indeed. Yes the hotel in places needs updating but it was clean.

The rooms were cleanned everyday, staff were brilliant and totally adored our 5 year old Daughter.

Food was great although you do put on the pounds after from trying all the dishes.

We would recommend the all inclusive good value for money.

The only issues I had was that you could not order food at the pool area and you had to order from resturant but this was quickly resolved with the hotel staff.

Walls are thin so you can hear someone going to the loo.

We did Spend all our days at the new resort for the pools as the pool at the hotel was cold and no paddling area for children.

Would recommend this hotel but its 1 hour 45mins from airport by coach.

As a well travelled couple I would give 4 star. The beach is perfectect and very clean. We stayed in the chalets wich are directly on the beach, the layout of the chalet is good but in my opinion they require some TLC regarding the decore , they would be much improved with comfortable furniture on the patio.Guests that we spoke to confirmed the rooms in the new main building were beautiful, to put everyones minds at rest the resort is now complete. The food was very good as was the service. For anyone who has concerns about taking someone to this resort with mobility problems dont ,it is very flat, good access and a buggy service should you need assistance. The only down side to this hotel is the journey from the airport which takes a good hour by car a little longer by coach, and the area of Ras Al Khaimah is a little off putting but their alway has to be a compromise. It is well worth it. We will be rturning next year.

I stayed here the weekend of the RAK half marathon (for two nights) so it was fully booked but still they managed to cope very well. No queues for check in...I ordered a breakfast to my room for 5.45 am as I was doing the run...it was 10 minutes late and because of that it was complimentary!! Gorgeous breakfast including freshly squeezed apple juice. Chalets are beautiful. Ours was right at the edge of a beautiful pool which was really quiet. Breakfast were great as was the buffet in the same restaurant in the evening. (And it has vouchers in the Entertainer for 'Buy One Buffet Get One Free' which we availed of. Great selection of restaurants and bars and the pools are beautiful...huge and so clean. Beach was gorgeous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Honestly, the whole experience was like a fabulous honeymonn. If you stay here please book a chalet or villa as opposed to staying in the main hotel. They are just beautiful. We paid 1470 dhs for 2 nights bed and breakfast for two. I've paid far more for hotels which were not in the same league as this one. Great for kids too with lots of kiddie pools and even a kiddie buffet at breakfast and dinner! Stay here for a fabulous time-will be back as soon as we can!!!

We stayed at RAK for 3 nights prior to cruise from Dubai and then again 1 night afterwards. To be honest we would have rather spent the last 3 days at this luxurious hotel after the cruise. Although it is one and a half hours from Dubai, this resort is just so relaxing. No noisy people fighting for "their" space because there is just so much private beach and masses of patio areas with luxury sunbeds and shades. We stayed all inclusive and it was just perfect. The staff are so helpful, just cannot do enough for you. The food is to die for at all meals. beautifully presented and masses of choice especially for vegetarians. Salads so fresh and colourful. Meat and fish in abundance. My husband enjoyed watching all the big rugby matches on the big screen!! The beach is safe for little ones and the beach chalets are fantastic. Our room had 2 king size beds and flat screen TV. Ensuite bath, shower room big enough for 2 plus double wash basins and bidet and WC plus a phone. The Crabtree and Evelyn products were most welcome as too were the Hilton slippers and robes. Well stocked mini bar (not included in AI) plus hairdryer and even bathroom scales to keep an eye on your weight.
No noisy music. 7 swimming pools. Barbeque for lunch or restaurant with waiter service. Grab a towel and lay on the sun lounger and sip a cocktail - pure heaven. Would go back to this place again. Hoping that the local RAK airport soon receives flights from Uk thus saving transfer time from Dubai.

Nice resort but our room was noisy as it was at the very end of the hotel building where the ground floor rooms were still under construction. This is not great if you have a little one who needs an afternoon nap.
Food in main restaurant average quality. Beach very nice and so are pools.
