This was our first visit to the UAE. I didn't think the resort would be so far from DXB airport and to be honest I was a little worried at first as it meant one or no excursions into Dubai itself. The layout and facilities you cannot fault. Probably the best we've ever stayed. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. I cannot remember all their names. The gentleman in Reception, the 2 ladies in the Gift Shop, Rose in the Spa, and Sonia in the Salon. The only downside was that were were "half board" and the drinks were expensive. You'd even get charged for bottled water in the Pool bar which I thought was strange. Hot climate, water is needed to rehydrate. Overall a good experience with happy memories.

Room tip: We chose Sea View. On reflection, we ought to have chosen Bay View.

Don’t be fooled by the price of this hotel. Although it is a good deal, it is also a complete waste of money. From the moment we arrived we regretted booking here. We waited hours for our room.. had to sleep in the lobby, to be taken up to our room which was extremely bleak and un-luxurious, complete opposite to what we have experienced in Dubai in 10 years of visiting. The buffet which is included in the basic All Inc is awful, people using their bare hands to pick up food, being pushed all over the place, absolutely NOTHING relaxing about eating here. You will finish your meal well before receiving a drink. The food is actually ok, but shows how much at atmosphere can shape your opinion.

We did not receive housekeeping once in 3 days, no clean towels or bed sheets, let alone turndown service! There is a funny smell in the hotel, which I had read about before booking but put it down to personal opinion, but no defiantly not, it smells like a horses stable. We requested clean towels 4 times and had no luck, only to have them thrown in at 11:30pm!

When going down to the pool good luck with getting a sun bed after 9am, unless you want to be 10ft away from your other half, surrounded by children screaming. We waited an hour for pool towels.

This hotel is obviously driven on conning you into spending more money, absolutely everything will cost you extra, to play pool, have a decent glass of wine, anything which is above basic, get your purse out.

Two of the staff were exceptional, however the others look like they would rather be anywhere else but there. Serving warm beer and wine with ice cubes is not my idea of acceptable.

I am not one to complain, but I am genuinely gutted that we paid a penny towards this. We have not enjoyed this stay at all, biggest regret. If you enjoy luxury, relaxing and peace and quiet this is not the place for you. Save your money.

We stayed for 2 nights 2 adults 1 child +1 infant, got room upgrade at bay view apartment with sea View with 2 twin beds Checkin was quick, resort has large pools with pirate ship waterpark for kids, our kids enjoyed being in pool even though resort was crowded...

buffet food at marjan restaurant got limited options for starters, no soft drinks included they charge extra, food is average..limited menu for the price

There was bit of dirt/ dust in corners of the room,floor tiles were yellowish/pale..some of the furniture had marks need restoration or refurbishment of the room..

Overall very good family fun resort for kids to enjoy got pool with water splash park..nice beach, resort management needs to look into fine detailing, improve the menu of restaurant, do some restoration for rooms.

Just returned home after our third visit to this hotel and have nothing but praise for it.
The rooms are large and well appointed as we always upgrade to a deluxe villa room.
The hotel is a very large complex and is kept immaculately clean by the very friendly hard working staff, just a few to mention.
Sunita and all the staff in the al a carte restaurants and soloman, ram, nigel and Peter in the pool bar.
The buffet restaurant can get busy at times but always a good selection, the a la carte restaurants are very good but have to be booked.
All in all a fab time will be back!

Positive: - great main pool with cold refreshing water of the pool easy access to the pool even for people with disabilities.
-friendly helpful staff all around the hotel.
-singer at night from 8-10:30 pm which gives special touch to dinner.
- all inclusive is perfect dining plan but the food lacks variety (but it is recommended).

Special thanks to Lila from reception for friendly helpful check in. ( thank you for delicious cookies)

Negative: the room was extremely humid with very bad smell which does not match the standard and quality of the hotel,, receptionist did not help solving the issue, house keeping just put perfume ( staying in the room at night time was so bad with sick nasty humid smell. (room evaluation is 2/5 only)

Overall good hotel with great pool and entertaining for adult and kids but be aware from the rooms.
