4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

Very much enjoyed spending the weekend with my family
Clean and new chalets and serviced, but does not have a kitchen refrigerator
There are no cooker
I would recommend this hotel for family trips or for married couples

not really satisfied with this hotel, as still under construction is one reason. not good quality rooms even it is 4 star. only 1 mug in the room even it is double room. one dental kit. no water bottles in the room. but if you book a one bed or two bed villa it is good choice. also good for a couple os families. better to plan for a BBQ in villa area have facilities for that.
view is good. river flows back side of all villas. staff good , friendly. Villas isolated. you must have a car if you supporse to go. even going to the restaurant need a car. that much distance between villas and main building.

Room Tip: Better to choose one bed villas or two bed villas. don' t go for rooms. not worth for your money...

I stayed for 5 nights whilst running a training course at the hotel. I had a room on the ground floor in the hotel near reception. I asked for a top floor room but was told they were unavailable,. The room was large, with lots of storage, plugs, seating, a large and comfy bed. The unusual shape meant that the room was not a boring box shape. The staff were extremely helpful and responsive.
A few quibbles. I had a bath and when I pulled the plug out the water came out of a grate in the floor, flooding the room. First time everything on the floor got soaked. The room I had 101 was directly opposite the lift. This was used infrequently the first 3 nights, on the fourth night it was used frequently. There is a bell that sounds when the lift is called and arrived, and is loud. It must have sounded 80 times in one evening and was extremely annoying as I was trying to work and then sleep. The only option offered was a room move to a villa which at 9 in the evening was not something I wanted to do.
There is also the noise of drills and hammering that can be heard in the room. I was training from 8 to 2 and when I left the room put the 'ready to clean' on the door. When I got back to my room it had not been cleaned, and was not cleaned until 3 which disturbed me and was not convenient. There is a swimming pool which I used - a mixed one. I felt uncomfortable swimming here as there were no other women swimming and I got gawped at by the many teenage boys who were in the pool - and were messing about, throwing balls, and jumping around so swimming was not easy to do. The hotel charges for non residents - I was asked to pay until I said I was a resident, so obviously western residents are a minority. There is a woman's pool but I would need to drive to, which I couldn't do. The sauna and steam room were women only and were superb but were switched off as the norm so I had to wait around to use them - so I found the leisure facilities difficult to use which is unfortunate as there is little else to do in the hotel. I did not have breakfast as it started at 7 and I wanted to be in the training room by 7.30 so there was not enough time
Training support staff were superb, very helpful and responsive

Is a 4 star very very OLD property previously owned by the Government and now managed by the one to one group.
The location is good enough if you are considering an over night accommodation after a tiring exhilarating day at wadi adventure as it is bang opposite the attraction.
We faced a problem with he bathroom drain leaking and the floor being wet throughout and a foul smell that was predominant throughout the property.
The restaurant is quite ok but the staff is definitely not upto the mark with no presence of mind and no enthusiasm to go out of the way or just be a little proactive for that matter!

We stayed in the Superior room, which was spacious, neat, clean and very cosy. They were one of the only hotels offering free wi-fi when I was looking for options in Al Ain. It is located very close to Jabel Hafeet, Mubazzarah & Wadi Adventure. Also, the drive to Bawadi mall is around 10-15 minutes which is good for shopping, restaurants etc.
The staff is very friendly and pay a lot of attention for detail. I had informed them that my husband and I were there to celebrate our anniversary, so they set up the room beautifully with a lovely cake (which was delicious!).
On the downside, it is an old property which has been renovated and they still have work going on. You need to drive your car to go to different areas of the resort, it would be nice if they had resort buggy's to take you around. The pool needs to be revamped. I would probably visit it again only after they have completed all the renovations.

Can't believe this place is open.
Nothing appears to be finished properly walkways, pavements, flower beds etc.
Extremely disappointed.

Stayed in a villa on the side facing the 'canal'.
the promenade was derilict, debris everywhere, smashed lights, broken glass on the walkway. Some dangerous areas if small children are running around.
had to drive to any facilities which was awkward.
Rooms are old, dirty, tired.
No instruction booklet, mini bar not filled, no hand towels.
Air con- old fashioned, extremely noisy, kept us up most of the night.
Pool area- dirty, no view or vista, water had some litter/ hair floating in it.
I think this place just needs a MASSIVE renovation.

I did inform the staff about my concerns and i was handled well.
I was informed that perhaps I should try one of the other rooms, and my complaints were re. Aesthetics however sadly I feel this place needs more than an aesthetic overhaul!

On the positive side, al ain was great. very close to the wadi adventure and villa was huge.
Most staff we found to be friendly.

Sadly I would never stay here again. Certainly not in the villas anyway. 4*????

My and my partner really loved the place, its an awesome location to Jebel Hafeet and Wadi Adventures (Aqua Park), very quite and romantic place to be, and an excellent value for what we have paid.
I would go again on a longer stay if I can
