We had a nice visit to the palace. There are lots of rooms to have a look in and check out. It's free as well.

Lots of history and cultural information, quite pretty and worth a visit. Hard to comprehend that such green gardens could be cultivated in the middle of a desert. I am fascinated by older buildings, so well constructed. People do still reside in parts of the palace so you won't have access to all of it.

Absolutely worth of visiting! Interesting and historical Sheik Zayed's old palace. Free entrance. Parking is easy.

Families, groups, couples, or friends... can all enjoy this outing. It is a short and pleasant visit for all ages. Difficult to get guided tour though. I have been here 4 times and never managed to get a guide. The place is not crowded, but I think they only have one guide. However, it's fine walking around on your own. Simple and beautiful architecture. Interesting to get some recent historical knowledge about UAE.

Lovely nomadic palace. Great to see how the UAE ruler started off his kingdom. The palace has many portraits and images as well as tools of the late Sheikh. It's a very quiet and peaceful palace surrounded by thousands of trees.
