The coordinates mentioned in this site is incorrect. I ended at a loc abt few km away from the site. The actual location is 'al ain palace museum' on google map.

Its worth a visit. Nicely maintained/ recreated.

Entrance to the palace is free and you can roam around for as long as you like. Interesting insight into living conditions and entertainment customs - lots of sleeping and living areas set up to give you a real feel for the history. There is a map, but no booklets for foreign visitors, which I think would be of benefit. Great place to take pictures, lovely backdrops and scenery and not too busy either! Our stay took just over an hour and we visited every room, so no one got 'bored'! Really worth a visit.

Interesting glimpse of family and Majlis life in the 1970's; tasteful restoration but needs a booklet for foreign visitors.

A really interesting little museum giving visitors a glimpse into the past. The building itself is really quaint, peaceful and very picturesque. A number of rooms (sleeping, living etc) have been setup to give visitors an authentic insight of where Sheikh Zayed, the Founder of the UAE grew up.
Really worth a visit. Won't take you more than a couple of hours and is a great day out.

Really liked the ambience and in terms of cultural things to do in the UAE this is way up the top, didn't stay long but very much worth a visit.
